FAQ

It involves construction, just don't know what it is exactly? Thanks!
Scaffolds are those things that look like square boxes put together on the sides of buildings/ houses that are under construction. They are used so workers can reach otherwise too high places with out ladders. Very stable. Click links for pictures.
i got my scaffolding pierced yesterday and my mum told me to clean it 2-3 times a day but im not sure if this will be healthy for my piercing?can anyone tell me how often is healthy please?many thanks ^^
i havent got that piercing yet, but i do have a friend who has it. your mom is right clean it atleast 2-3 times a day. once in the moring - once when you come back from school [ if you dont go to school ] at 4:00 - 5:00 - and once when your about to go to bed. if you dont feel like cleaning it 3 times just make sure you do it atleast twice, or instead of doing the full cleaning - with the soap and stuff just clean it fully twice and remove the crusties in the afternoon - youll get alot of those ;P and that would be itt . . . (: GOODLUCK ! :)
155 lb and is 3.00 ft from one end. The other washer is 4.00 ft from the other end. If the force supported by the end near the first washer is 200 {line above last zero}, how much does the second washer weigh?
Let the two upward forces be F1 and F2. F1 + F2 = 155 + 75 + X. Taking moment about the end near the washer of X lb 4X + 6*75 + 12* 155 = 12.*200 X = 22.5 lb ==================================
Is there any recorded data on risk hazard on aluminum and steel type of scaffoldings?
Aluminum scaffolds are lighter and often easier to construct. Steel scaffolds are stronger, but heavier and more cumbersome. As long as it is scaffold industry approved product both should have the same risk factor, assuming they are both put together properly.
Scarlet Letter: What does the scaffold symbolize for Hawthorne in chapter 2?
The scaffold in this scene is used to isolate Hester from the rest of society and is where they present the scarlet letter which will make her isolated from now on. It symbolizes sin and punishment.
A 100 kg scaffold is 7 m long. It is hanging with two wires, one from each end. A 600 kg box sits 1.8 m from the left end. What is the tension in the left hand side wire?(g = 9.8 m/s2)answer in newtons
This question can be solved by first drawing a free-body diagram and then summing the moments (torques) around the right end of the scaffold. We'll designate the tension in the left hand wire with T. So after making our free-body diagram we find the sum of the moments around the right end of the scaffold (where each moment = force x distance from point we are taking it about), setting it to zero because the system experiences no angular motion 0 = 7m * -T + 600kg * 9.8m/s^2*(7m - 1.8m) + 100kg * 9.8m/s^2 * 3.5m (Notice that T is negative because it would produce a clockwise rotation about the right end of the scaffold, and the weights are positive because their rotation would be counter-clockwise) Now we just solve for T, which comes out to be T = 4858N
how much ?
It depends where you go... But if you go to a decent body piercer, I'd say no less than ?20 and no more than ?40.
I want to put up new siding on my two story house. But the prices to rent a scaffolding are so darn expensive. I've heard of people making quot;skyfoldings.quot; It consists of a three ladder design. Two ladders are standing vertically and one ladder horizontally. They use custom made brackets to support the horizontal ladder. Is a quot;skyfoldingquot; a good idea?
I suggest 2x4s and duck tape to construct scaffolding
