Q: I'm asking this in favour of my friend who currently has no internet. She had her scaffold piercing done about 2 days ago and today it got knocked and started bleeding. It's been bleeding for about 3 hours now and she's worried about it.
First you gotta stop touching it, that's probably causing the irratation, hence bleeding. IT'll take time to heal, just leave it alone clean out the blood every hour or so, BE CAREFUL! and LEAVE IT IN!
Q: I got my scaffold/industrial piercing today..about 4 or 5 hours ago and The glands in my neck are now swollen pretty bad..I usually suffer with swollen glands but not this much..is this from the piercing?? Is it dangerous? Also my ear still stings is that normal? Thanks in advance
There are a lot of viruses/allergies/sinuses going around right now, and I would say that the swollen glands aren't from the piercing, but it could very well be a lymph node in your neck with a collection of white blood cells grouping together to go fight the bacteria possibly from the piercing. And the stinging is fine, mine hurt for a really long time after I got it. Actually it still hurts quite often. But just keep applying the sea salt mixture three times daily and you should be healed up in no time! (:
Q: Does it matter what size your ear is when you get an industrial/scaffolding piercing?
no doesn't matter.
Q: Another from the ministry of silly questions…I’d like to support a lightweight tarpaulin over my back yard. Single slope, high side attached to the house and low side attached to a scaffolding pole, running horizontally between two walls. Fair weather, no high winds or pooling. The run of pole would be 8 meters. The longest poles seem to be 6m, so I need to use a coupling. Will this be strong enough – ish? I imagine the most stressed point would be just around the edges of the coupling, so If I used two joints/couplings in the bar, wouldn’t I half the strain on a single one? Also if I made the joints at 1m and 7m would that be better than to have a joint in the middle where the most flexing will be?Also bit more expensive, but with Aluminium the bar will be 20kg lighter – buy will it be as strong joint wise? Will a tubular coupling be as good as a external one?If anyone knows.. Thanks!
The problem with your proposal is that you realise that the wind/rain could have an effect but chose to ignore the consequences if it occurs. 'Proper' scaffolding is designed and such an unsupported span would never occur in a 'normal' scaffold so the standard calculations would not work. There is also the possible effect on the walls, could they take an abnormal load? I would look at theatrical or music stage hire using trussed beams.
Q: I have been siding my house using pump jack scaffolding on wood poles. I am at a second floor section that is located over a pitch roof. Is there a safe way to mount poles on top of pitch roof to finish this section?
At that height you need support beams, scaffolding alone won't cover it.
Q: What is scaffolding in the psychology field?
I study Psychology but never heard of the term scaffolding. I know a scaffolding is a structure outside of a building used to clean windows and paint walls. But if you're not careful you will fall. So I guess if this is to apply to Psychology it must be an effect in that if one chooses things in life that are dangerous and not really thinking about the consequence of their actions, they are going to fall to their detriment. I guess!
Q: is scaffolding a trade that i could emigrate to australia with?
I would say so ... take a look around this site and see what you can find GOOD LUCK.
Q: Scaffolding with children that is.
It is expected that students will: ? identify elements of their own cultural backgrounds ? identify elements of Francophone culture in Canada You can find the Provincial Prescribed Learning Outcome document here. So, instead of having teacher-directed lessons discussing the elements of the Francophone culture in Canada and comparing it to our own cultural backgrounds, I handed the PLO’s to the students and let gave them ownership over how they wanted to explore these topics and how they wanted to demonstrate their learning. Even though we had opportunities to do Genius Hour throughout the year, it was still pretty foreign to them to have complete ownership over their own learning. They choose to work on their own or with a partner or in small groups.
Q: How do I know?
goto the piercing shop and ask?
Q: What is the difference between the bowl buckle scaffold and the fastener type steel pipe scaffold? What is the difference?
Single row are generally used for landing. Its main function is to protect. Specific reference to JGJ 1302011 "construction fastener type steel pipe scaffolding safety technical specifications" in the relevant instructions, and illustrations.
