Q: I want to get this done this weekend but I'm not sure about the pain. I have my ear lobes done and the top of my ear done but I'm really worried about this one because I heard it's meant to hurt really bad. Please tell me how bad it hurts and any other additional information thanks :): I don't have one of these piercings but I have also heard they are pretty painful. However, it really depends on your pain tolerance. I still don't think the pain would be too bad to stop you from getting the piercing, it is pretty quick. And they look really cool, so don't let the pain put you off.

Q: I got my scaffolding piercing yesterday (a bar through the cartilage) and when i woke up this morning there was quite a lot of blood, i mean like there was big clumps of it around the holes. I've cleaned it up and it seems to look okay and it isn't any more painful than when i got it done yesterday. Is this normal?Thanks (:: Yeah, your body is reacting to having a giant metal rod through it =] Its likely that in your sleep youve rolled onto it and that has caused the piercing to bleed. You can try putting a pillow next to you to aviod you rolling over. Otherwise dont sweat it just keep cleaning twice daily and youll be fine.

Q: On my blackberry so bare with me, I got my scaffold pierced on monday, everything fine, monday night I saw a lil blood clot scab thing...being an idiot I picked it, since then its non stop bled on and off, its now wednesday and its bleeding heavily, I don't know what to do, it soaks up pads of tissue in minuets.Anyone have any suggestions? Q: I'm wanting a scaffold piercing so i can wear it with a bar or 2 rings. Could i get it PIERCED with the 2 rings to begin with or do i have to have a bar for the first few weeks/months?: My friend wanted the same thing done so she asked the piercer and he pierced one side of her top ear first and a week later she went back and got the other side pierced. She got used to the rings being in for 2 weeks and then put a bar in. Beware though as the bar that is put into your ear can make your skin grow around it, I still have two lumps on my ear from where the piercing went dodgy and so has my friend. I want it done again though! :)
