Q: a/To prevent fraying.b/To prevent chaffing.c/To make a loop.
A, definitely and maybe C If a cable is properly swagged onto a link or turnbuckle, the cable will break before the swage breaks, so it's much stronger and you can't tie a knot in a cable because it weakens it.
Q: Driving control cable hr What does it mean?
HR-type travel cable applications for connecting a variety of frequent mobile electrical equipment, especially for electric hoist, driving and a variety of mobile devices
Q: Whether the control cable is divided into high and low pressure
110 cable and 4 pairs and 5 pairs of modules
Q: I was recently driving my taurus and noted that the kickdown wasn't working properly, upon inspection I noticed that I have the two cables hooked to the throttle body. One that goes to the pedal and the other (kickdown) goes to some kind of control box under the master brake cylinder. I notice it has a very large connector with several wires in it, WHAT IS THIS BOX!!! I can't find any info on.
The second cable and the box is the cruise control. Your transmission is computer controlled. If the transmission is not shifting correctly its a internal transmission problem which would usually set a code and check engine light or its something else in the system giving the computer bad info so the computer is not shifting it correctly. Could be something like a temp sensor not giving an accurate reading.
Q: I am receiving a computer code of P1587 Throttle Control Unit Modulated Command Malfunction on my 2000 S type Jaguar.Does anyone know what exactly what Throttle Control Unit Modulated Command Malfunction means. Thank you!
Not an expert, but it could mean there is a problem with the control signal being sent to the throttle control unit. Your car probably has an electronic throttle (a motor controls it instead of a cable to the gas pedal). I don't know if this code means signal problems from the computer to the throttle unit or if it means a problem with the gas pedal signal. You might have to replace any of the following: the gas pedal, the throttle body, throttle body harness, or possibly the computer itself. I would hook up a scan tool and confirm there is a good, smooth signal from the gas pedal. I would also take the throttle body off, clean it, and check the servo gearing (sometimes the gears wear out). It should open and close smoothly by hand (there will be resistance though).
Q: I want to install 2 VCR's to one TV. I have one GoVideo player, and one Panasonic player, going to a Hitachi TV. I want the GoVideo to be on one channel, and the Panasonic to be on another. Note that I have the PS2 going to Input 2. The way I have it setup now is that on Channel 3, there is audio and video, but on Input 1, there is only video. I only want to use Coax, S-Video, and RCA cables. I need specific help, and please tell me what exactly to connect, and where to connect it (in or out). I want one VCR going to one channel, the other VCR going to another channel, and the PS2 having its own channel. I DON'T want it setup for in order for one VCR to go on, the other one has to go on. I want each to have its own channel.
Do you want to control your cable channels through each VCR? If so , then first you'll have to split the cable with a 2-way splitter run each output from the splitter into each VCR's input labelled IN FROM ANT. Then coming out of the GoVideo hook another piece of coax from the OUT TO TV connection directly to your tv (you can use ch 3 or 4). Now with the cable screwed into the Panasonic VCR, take a set of RCA cables from the video (yellow) output audio output (red white) to your tv's input 1, audio/ video inputs, being sure to match the colors. You said your PS2 is going to the input 2 of the tv, so you should be all set. Now to select your tv inputs, just hit the TV/VIDEO button on your tv remote choose between the 2 VCRs the PS2.
Q: I know the second one is the throttle the third may be the TV but im putting on a new carb and its totally different
Kind of hard to see, but #1 and 2 are the throttle and transmission kickdown. Just pump the gas pedal to see which one the throttle is. The small cable #3 should be the cruise control.
Q: How to distinguish between power cables, control cables, and wires
Dogs like to have their own mark in the excretion of the place, you can artificially put the dog's excrement put a little in the place you want it to get rid of the hand, slowly guide it, eat water is the same, do not fight It ah, met the naughty on the contrary and the line, in short, slowly to guide it, it will understand.
Q: I need to run 4160V feeds to some power vaults. Yes, 4160Vnot 480V or 110V. Each Power vault requires three power feeds, a ground and a control cable. Amperage is 400 Amps. I've got existing 4 conduits.but I cannot find a cable small enough and think I need to retrench and run new conduit to at least 5, maybe 6 Anyone got a miracle solution ? Or should I say cable.original design calls for 750 KC mil 133% insulation which is a 3.8 OD and wont run in a 4 conduit. Hopeing to find a rated cable that will. I was hoping a salesman would be on here looking at this instead of all you smart a$$e$.
Direct burial cable or cable tray is the best option here. There are many problems running 6 inch conduit mostly pulling the cable if its not a short straight run.Check websites like BICC for cable quotes they will be able to advise.
Q: I have a television in my bedroom but no cable plug. The room next door has a cable outlet and no tv. Is there any way I could get cable on the one television without running any wires? Price is really unimportant to me right now. Thanks in advanced for your help.
the simplest thing you can do is run a splitter into that room, you'll spend about $10 on everything you need. also, if you have a HDTV you can get free high definition channels that are broadcasted for free with a regular antenna if you have one of the old tv's, you can buy one of those converter boxes now for the expensive solution, buy a TV card for your computer, hook up your cable box to it and make sure everything works, then through Windows Media Center you can share movies/videos/pictures and TV to any other computer in the house (though your wireless signal in your house), which will also require you to connect a computer to the other TV in that room, hopefully being a HDTV with a VGA input for your computer it's going to be expensive, and use more power as you will have to keep the computers on all the time to have the TV always on easiest thing is to just buy a splitter and run the wires to that room. hope that helps, its long because there really isn't a simple solution.
