- Q: I currently have a Tivo Series 2 that is not HD recordable but just purchased an HD TV. If I use the Tivo Series 2 with an HD cable box, will I be able to watch HD channels on my TV while the Tivo is hooked in? I know it won't record HD channels, but I just want to be able to see the channels.
- We had the same issue. When we got an high definition cable box to go with our HD TV, we set up tivo on input 1 to the TV and the HD box on input 2. Cable goes from the wall to the HD cable box and then the cable box outputs to the TV (for HD viewing) and the tivo for recording. We CAN watch and record the HD channels through the tivo but the quality is not HD. The new HD tivos are very nice but unless you decide to upgrade, this works fine. We just switch to Input 2 when we want to watch something on HD. Good luck.

- Yes, it's possible. I did it once long ago, but be advised that it is a very, very slow way to transfer data. If the computers have network cards, you could try an ethernet crossover cable instead.
- Q: I have comcast digital cable and I hooked up my computer to my cable box. Now it tells me im missing IR control Cables Im not sure what that means when I hook the cable from the comp. Directly to the wall it works, but I dont get the upgraded cable channels

- Q: i put my turbo 400 transmission in my car and forgot to connect the kickdown cable and i was wondering if its hard to connect it to the transmission itself and if so could i just block off the hole somehow and manualy downshift or would that hurt the transmission
- I would go with the 400 because it can handle more! for instance if you wanted to really show saomeone what that chevelle can really do, you dont want the tranny to drop out do ya? My father in law has a 68 chevelle with a 400 horse motor in it and hes also using a 400 tranny! It may be a tight run on outlastin the 350 but it will really handle the torque!!
