- Q: ok so i'm building a high gaming computer. my question is i'm a getting a Full moduler power supply my question is do i have to buy the cables for power does the componets i buy come with them??? oh and by the way just curious what happens if you touch thermal paste with your finger???
- PSU wattage rather capacity no longer something. even with a 1500W psu, you nevertheless might have difficulty powering a 100w equipment if all that power is placed on the three.3 and 5v rails. Like ninety 5% of computer factors use the 12v rail for power. So any high quality PSU could have maximum the flexibility going to the 12v rails. (like ninety%+ of the entire wattage could be on the 12v rail). that one and all which actually concerns, is the entire mixed 12v rail amperage. Now often the better wattage the PSU, the better amperage the 12v rail is going to be by capacity of default, even on crap psu. while you're making plans on getting like a 3930K and overclocking it to the max, and getting like 2 gtx670s and overclocking them to the max, then you need to to look right into a 1200W psu, or you dont even want close that quantity of wattage. for many any computer setup, 750-850W is genuinely adequate for multi snap shots enjoying cards in case you have a high quality psu. identity recommend seasonic or the corsair HX/AX sequence psu. And so which you already know, working CFX/SLI doesnt even come close to to doubling the overall performance. Now making use of a z77 board, with an ivy bridge cpu, and pci-3.0 snap shots card, there is adequate bandwidth to double fps working multi enjoying cards. yet thats additionally assuming the pastime has finished sli/cf help. EDIT: nicely your first mistake is procuring an fx8150 (much less gaming overall performance then an i3-2120), and your 2nd is even thinking a 7970.... a gtx670 is extra efficient and $2 hundred extra much less high priced... and makes use of much less power... and runs cooler... and has a plenty bigger overhead for overclocking, so hmm...
- Q: Hey.I just took out the power cable on my ps3, but then my light was gone in the same moment? How could that be :-D?
- Bad wiring in the house? Sounds at least like a situation like that. Not uncommon in buildings of certain times.. older types of wiring used. And worse not ready for todays amount of electronics. So yeah check the wiring. In between time buy a few extension boxes, you know the type with more then 1 electronic socket. But most important a switch. That way you can switch it off and that way such discharges won't happen any more.
- Q: What is the difference between VV22 and VV62?
- Cross-linked power cable heating the main reason there are . the choice of continuous allowable current is less than the load of the maximum continuous current power cable; . the power cable in the implementation of the cable for cold contact, the use of crimping pliers die too large, leading to copper . the air switch input and output and cable copper nose connection, the choice of non-standard flat gasket or no spring gasket; . the air switch input and output side of the cable and cable core crimp is not solid and reliable; When the cable is connected to a strand, the air switch bolts are not tightened. . high-power UPS running, the filter cabinet is not put, n harmonic effects of cable overload, neutral overload, serious lead to cable breakdown, and a fire hazard. . the power cable along the building facade iron cabinet box laying, the surrounding environment is not ventilated, poor heat dissipation. Select the power cable should consider the following factors: . the rated voltage of the cable is greater than or equal to the rated power supply system power supply system; . the cable can continue to allow the current to be equal to or greater than the maximum load current load; . Power supply system short-circuit stability requirements; . according to the length of the cable to determine whether the voltage drop to meet the requirements; . the end of the line minimum short-circuit current should be able to protect the device reliable action. . a high degree of breakdown strength; . low dielectric loss; . a very high insulation resistance; . excellent resistance to discharge performance; . with a certain degree of flexibility and mechanical strength; . long-term stability of insulation.
- Q: I purchased a LCD TV the other day and ran a cable line to it (via crawl space). I had to use a splitter to connect the new TV. I connected the cable directly to the TV and then the power cable to the outlet which “popped” and the power went out (breaker trips). I connect the TV power cable to a surge protector and the power goes out again (surge protector wasn’t even on). So I disconnect the cable from the tv and connect the power. Everything is fine until I try and connect the cable...let’s just say the spark was bright and hot enough to melt part of the connector on the TV! So I return the TV and get a different brand and the same thing happens when I plug it into a surge protector. To begin narrowing out possible problems I connect the cable to a regular 10 year old TV with no problems. It is a brand new cable with no cuts or fraying. Any suggestions?
- Something is seriously wrong, and you may need to get an electrician on the problem. You need to check the voltage between your set and the cable with a meter. There should be little or no measurable voltage. If you are getting a reading like 115 volts, then I suspect that the wall outlet into which your TV is plugged has been wired backwards, i.e. the black wire is on the white terminal, and vice-versa. The cable is (or should be) grounded where it comes into the house, but if the outlet has the hot wire on the wrong side, this might cause the problem you described. The wrong connection could have occurred anywhere along the line between your main panel and the outlet, so this may involve checking the connections at several outlets and light fixtures - whatever is on the same circuit as your TV's outlet.
- Q: I'm about to order everything to put a new sound system in my Jeep Wrangler and I've been planning the locations to run new wires and cables. I got to looking at the area's where I could run the power cable for the amp and have come to 2 conclusions. I could either drill a hole in a very difficult to reach but hidden area behind the dash and try to hide the cable on the interior of the Jeep all the way to the rear where the amp is.. or, I could run the cable inside the hollow frame rails (which have many pre-drilled holes to slip the cable in and out of) under the Jeep and then just drill a hole to the interior in an easy to reach location near the amp. My only concern is that the cable's insulation will breakdown and crack prematurely due to exposure to water and road salts.. is this a real risk if I run the cable on the exterior of the vehicle? Or will the cable hold up just as well as any other cable such as those in the engine compartment? Thanks for your help!
- Keep it inside. Run it under the sill plates and carpet (or rubber flooring). If you put it outside and it wears through the insulation (for what ever reason, elements, chaffing) it could cause a serious problem, even a fire, as it would be directly to the battery.
- Q: Basically i want to add another ssd using a power splitter cable, however i was wondering if you could use the power splitter cable with the optical drive instead of with the current hard drive, (im asking this as there's no room to place the ssd drive close to the hard drive)Thanks
- Yes it will work just fine.
- Q: Hi, I have a router connected to the internet, but one of the computer is 80 feets away from the router and it can not get 100MBps. I have force the computer to use 10MBps. Could someone please let me know what will impact the speed of cat5 cabling?
- Power cables cause interference as well as distance and twists in the wire. I assume you have a cable that you made. Did you try a pre-made cable at a shorter distance to see if the ethernet card will do 100mb at all? If it works with the premade, you might have not wired the 80' cable correctly. Make sure you have the pairs crimped correctly in the connector. Pins 1 and 2 are a pair. Pins 3 and 6 are a pair. Pins 4 and 5 and 7 and 8 are paired as well. Example: Orange/white = pin 1 Orange=pin 2 Green/white=pin 3 Green = pin 6 Blue = pin 4 Blue/White = pin 5 Brown/white = pin 7 Brown = pin 8 I hope this helps.
- Q: u know the big power cable that hooks onto ur positive terminal. it's a piece of metal on the tip that's round and has a hole in the middle to hook it onto ur screw. my step brother cut the middle of it with pliers and alot of the top part is gone, is this the reason my sub isn't powering on? also it wouldn't fit on the screw obviously. so how do i fix this problem. get a different wire with a bigger end piece? thanks for ur time
- buy a new end piece from a radio shack, you can hookem up pretty easily. i answered your other question too, but i just wnat the extra 10.
- Q: Many of the complete amplifier kits, example rated for a 700 watt amplifier come with a 10 gauge power cable. Many of the gauge charts from the online car audio techs, would recommend a 4 gauge wire, but they sell the amp kits with the 10 gauge. I guess bigger is better, more efficient and safer for the installation, but I would expect them to add some * adjacent to the kit specs with their recommendation.
- Well in this case bigger is most of the time better. I used a 2 gauge for both of my amps. 2 guage is thick enough to handle alot of juice! And your right, 10 guage isnt always the best size for bigger amps. I assume you are talking about a big amp right? My 2 amps, one put out 1600 rms, and my amp for the high's put out 200 rms. And both of these amps ran off of the same power cable with no problems ever. Now if you are going to be running a big amp or amps, dont forget to also help out your cars alternator by also running a DEEP CYCLE battery, and also a recomended 3 farod capasitor! Good luck!!
- Q: And if so how much would that cable be and could you supply a link to get it from that place?Im really struggling to find any details of where i can get one so could you possibly check out the item and see if there is any help on there?I currently have a 3A 250v Power cable and i'm wondering if that can help? Thanks alot and if it helps ill pick a best answer soon. Thank you!
- High input cable ...? Not really sure what that is, Also, that power supply is junk. 750W and it only has a single 6-pin PCI? That's sad. Good 750W power supplies are at least ?70 and have four 6-pin PCI cables. Heck, a good 430W costs more than that and it's guaranteed to perform better.
