Q: Does anybody know how to properly adjust the TV cable on a 97 Lexus SC400? I'm decently inclined in mechanics but if you really think I need to go to a real mechanic to adjust it please let me know. All shift control functions are handled through the PCM. This is true for about any vehicle American or Import built after around 1996. I reviewed the transmission used in the SC400 just to be sure, and there is indeed no TV cable on it. Actually, short of the Transmission shift cable, there are no adjustments that can be made on this transmission. I reviewed service bulletins for your vehicle and could find none addressing the harsh shift concerns you are describing. Since I am unfamiliar with Toyota transmissions, I am unable to offer you any useable advice.

Q: I have it hooked up to my Comcast Cable Box and Im trying to record a show. But when I set my computer to record a show such as 'that 70's Show' I have to be watching the channel that it is on. Q: i keep adjusting the throttle cable and and it either goes into forward and neutral or neutral and reverse there is they dont all work at the same time.: I agree with Richard,you need to be careful when you are setting these cables because someone could be seriously hurt if not done properly.Your throttle and shift cables are the same.You should hook them up in the control box first.Make sure when hooking them up you use the proper 1 for throttle and shift.To check this you can shift the control box and the one that moves first at the engine is the shift cable.Another way to check is the cables at the engine with the box in neutral 1 is longer then the other,the shortest 1 is the shift cable.If you have any doubts get yourself a manual.

Q: If i plug my iPod into the deck in my car using an aux cable can i use the controls on the deck to or do i still have to use the iPod controls? My deck is a Kenwood KDC-MP238 WMA/MP3 CD.: Using aux input, you can control volume only. Also standard bass/treble/balance/fader. You need need radio that has iPod controls through docking cable to actually control the iPod.

Q: Comcast is making me 'upgrade' from analog to digital cable service. I received the boxes and set them up today. The only problem I have is getting my VHS to record shows correctly. As of now, I can only record the channel that my new 'tuner box' is tuned to. In the past I was able to record one channel, and watch another, or record two different shows on two different channels while I was out of town.I talked to the person at comcast, and they said I would need a DVR or something else to regain this functionality.
