- This has happened to me quite a lot. What I used, was fantastik cleaner and sprayed the spot then I let it soaked in. then I left a paper towel over the spot to clear up the polish. If that doesn't work, you could try putting nail polish remover on a towel and soak up the area with that.

- Depends on how big of an area you are talking about and the carpet. I have done it with a high pile carpet by cutting a small slit and injecting glue beneath the carpet and then put weight on it for a while. If it is a low pile carpet you might have a hard time hiding your incision. Maybe if you can get a syringe type injector (meat injector) you can make a small enough hole that's not visible.

- If you mean wall to wall carpeting, you just have to check at carpet stores until you find the colour you want. They might or might not have every colour in stock but you can look at their samples. If you mean an area rug, it will be really hard to find. I looked for a teal-tone area rug for a couple of years until I found one at Ikea. You can have carpet off a roll cut to size and bound on the edges, too, for an area rug.
- Q: i have pink rugs in my room right now and want to re-do my room without getting new rugs. what should i do??
- You can use the rugs as an accent to some jewel or brighter tones, like blue or green, or you can subdue them and use them with taupes or there are some really nice brown/reds out this year that you could use and it would be trendy, or you could use soft colours and blend them in. Or you could use plain white on the walls and make it very cool with greys and blacks and a tiny bit of pink accent along with whatever other colour you might like to tie it all together. Don't despair, you can make it work and look awesome!

- Places that appraise handmade oriental rugs are often also equipped to repair them. It can be surprising what even torn rugs are worth, depending on age and quality. I moved into an apartment back in college where someone had left an old wool oriental with frayed fringe and a couple of spots worn smooth. It was pretty so I kept it for years and eventually took it to be professionally cleaned -- they told me it was worth over $1000 if it was fixed up! They charged me about $100 to repair the fringe and the bald spots and another $50 to clean it and moth prrof it (probably costs a bit more now). I used it for a few more years and then sold it for $800. The appraisers will be able to look beyond it being dirty to evaluate it so don;t worry about doing that before they see it. Please DON'T wash it with rug shampoo and a hose like the other guy suggested. That would ruin the weaving and run the colors if it is made with old vegetable dyes and would likely shrink the cotton warp and really trash it.

- Well...are they pet stains? Old or new? If they are old pet stains, it might be difficult to remove. For any type of carpet cleaning, it's best to purchase cleaner designed for your type of stain. For instance, there are cleaners created to treat and clean cat urine stains. These would be found in your stores pet/cat section and the household cleaning section. Once you get the proper cleaners, keep them on hand for the future accidents! When cleaning fresh accidents, remember to use paper towels to blot/soak up as much liquid as possible. Use the carpet cleaners according to their directions. If you have a Wet/Dry Vacuum, use that to extract the cleaner from the carpet. If worse came to worst, you might want to have the carpets professionally cleaned. For cats...please make sure you have a good litter pan that is large enough for your cat and use good litter...my cat responds well to the Tidy Cat brand. Good luck!

- you need a summer one you need a rain one you need a thick one for the cold days you need a cooler for after riding blah blah blah. and a fleece. That's about it. BUT you can find waterproof summer ones, so you can narrow that down to one (2 in 1! YAY!)

- take a knife to the corner and pull it up cut all around the edges and just pull. use some goo-be gone if you need to with the glue. then take one of those power tools that make the floor smooth. (idk what they are called lol) smooth out the floor and stain it :)
