Q: I'm having a hard time visualizing this. I have two small black tables, a black loveseat, black TV with a black (or soon to be silver stand) and a bright red chaise lounge. I know going with a neutral beige rug would be good, but what is another different color I can go with in a rug? Bonus points if you can also tell me a good color for one accent wall... :)
Go to Target, they have some very nice large rugs in multi colored patterns. Several with Black and Red and other bold colors. Either that, or a black white rug would do nicely with red furniture also. and if it were me, I would color one accent wall with a nice red. Just be bold!
Q: How to reuse the used carpet?
Carpet: wool carpet definitly will lose the wool, good wool fiber is combined togrther, even import New Zealand wool also falls, so don't buy cheap household carpet, as the cheaper cost, the worse quality.
Q: This might be a stupid question. But I'm about to buy carpet and I need to know how many sq. feet I need. thanks
what carpet or flooring you want and are satisfied with your plan you can now start to measure the rooms etc. When measuring it is very important to measure the widest point so make sure you measure into doorways as this is what most people over look. Just take your time to look in the room and make sure you have accounted for all the areas in the room. Most carpet is 4 or 5 meters in width so take this into account ie.where joins will go if required or how much waste will there be to do other areas. when measuring stairs just measure the width and allow approx 1.5 foot per stair in length. Draw arrows on your plans to which way the carpet will run this will make it easier when working out what size carpet you will need. Carpet will usually come in 12 and 15 foot wide rolls, so depending if the one you pick come in both or just 12 wide will determine exactly how much you need.
Q: How to clean the coke on the carpet!
Coke is easy to clean, use wet towel repeatedly wipe over the place, then absorb the water on the carpet with a dry towel , otherwise it will need a lot of water to clean afterwards. squeeze the cleaning agent on the dirty, then use a toothbrush or a small brush gently brush, until there is no remaining detergent.
Q: I live on the 2nd floor of an apartment building. While attempting to do laundry earlier today, I didn't notice that my washer never shut off.. So it kept filling until I noticed my dining room/kitchen room were flooded. I immediately shut the water off. The neighbors below came to my door stating that the water had leaked into their apartment. The question im having is quot;Is it necessary to have the carpet replaced?quot; I have a two year old, and after doing some research I learned that mold could build up, which is something I dont want. Also when the maintenance people came they tracked my carpet with mud and who knows what else when trying to fix my washer. My apartment wont just give me new carpet so Im trying to get some advice in whether or not I should fight for new carpet.
it is standard practice to dry and then clean carpet that has been soaked with water. but if it is really soaked they need to suck all the water out and then put special carpet drying fans under the carpet. what are they doing ? you did not tell us. and i guess it is their washer supplied with the apt and not yours correct ?
Q: ok so the other day i came home and these 2 guys were in my apartment. they claimed that i owed their boss some money, and i was very shaken up but after it was obvious I wasn't the guy they were looking for, they left- but one of them peed on my rug which was a really good rug. What should I do?
Wasn't Jeff Bridges in this movie??
Q: What color of the carpet looks good with blue floral tile?
It depends on your personal interests. After all each person's preferences are not the same.
Q: I'm getting new carpets, and need to get rid of my old one, what tools do I need, also, what do I with the nails and do I need to rip up all the carpet, even when the carpet meets the door or the edges of a wall?
There are 3 motives i will imagine of: a million. Separation pressure. because you pronounced that your domestic dog merely chews issues at the same time as he's left on my own, then your domestic dog ought to be suffering separation pressure. The Humane Society information superhighway website below provides ideas on the thanks to attend to Separation pressure. 2. no longer adequate exercising. Golden Retriever's are the carrying crew, meaning intense aspect of pastime. they choose countless exercising, and that i recommend plenty. A walk around the block isn't adequate. a 40 5 minutes walk is nice considering that its a poodle blend. Or a pastime of fetch in a huge outside for 30mins. exercising delivers psychological stimulation. remember, a drained canines is a contented canines! 3. no longer adequate Toys. Get a Kong, (I stuff Apples and my domestic dog is going nuts) Or a buster dice (you could stuff Kibble or small length canines biscuits). considering that it really is an 8 month domestic dog, it really is the chewing level! bite Toys are a ought to to maintain away from unnecessary chewing of alternative issues. Nylabones (lower than supervision tho) Fleece Toys, Rope toys. save Him Busy~ do not forget to save education worry-free instructions. also, you could set up a toddler gate so that you'll block off factors the position he's not any longer allowed in some factors of the homestead.
Q: Okay, so that's 2 questions in one. Don't hold it against me. Instead, please suggest a cleaner (or a home-made recipe/solution) for cleaning and shining stainless steel small appliances (coffee maker, panini maker, barmen's toolset, and some others) and for how to get set-in stains out of a small oriental rug. Don't know the composition of the stains; they've been there for awhile. They are on a white-ish background. Thanks!
You can buy stainless steel cleaners at your local grocery store. I use Cerama Bryte. Here is a website that has tips for cleaning your rug.
Q: My husband and I just moved into yet another rental. The carpet is decent; it's a little stained, but VERY worn in high traffic areas. We have tried everything from having them professionally cleaned to cleaning each inch with a toothbrush (a trick my local flooring salesman gave to make the carpet fibers separate and puff back up). We live in a college town where rent is very high and are so sick of being embarrassed of our carpets. Any suggestions on how to fix this or cover it up?It's a medium pile, standard beige. We HATE area rugs because our furniture makes them wrinkle up (but I'm also very attached to my furniture so I'm not getting rid of that) and I really want a nice smooth look. Even the huge 8x10 area rugs won't stay nice and flat. I looked into carpet tiles, but you can't install those over carpet and my landlord has refused to change it or let me change it. I'm really at the end of my rope here....I just want a nice, clean apartment that I can be proud to show off.
There are many solutions you can come up with and you are having hard time to clean it then why dont you buy a new one than suffering for an old rug, i am sure you can find cheap one so you will not be embarassed by your visitors.
