3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet
Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

- no it shouldnt if you cleaned it well but just to make sure go over it again with some kind of strong cleaner or bleach and it should be fine

- I think I paid like $3.25 or $3.75 sq. ft. for my high-end laminate. You can tell it's fake but is the best looking laminate I could find. It came with individual beveled planks, 3 sizes, to make it look more like hardwood. It was for my basement family room. I would have gotten hardwood, but I didn't want to pay to install a sub-floor. For resale value, I'd recommend going with real hardwood. It looks so nice and is quick to clean with a Swiffer Vac. It sells around $3 sq. ft. and up.

- Try diluting some vinegar in water and shampooing with that. Vinegar is used to cut oven cleaner cleaning solution making clean up easier, maybe it will work on the soap. My concern is how much water are you putting on the carpet? Saturating it could be damaging the under layer, promoting mold. You might consider cutting out that section, taking it to the sink or tub and running water through it until completely soap free, plot as much as possible out, let air dry and then use double sided carpet tape to reinstall it in the hall. They use carpet tape when installing carpeting when it must be seamed, so it's not a freakish idea.

- Most mobile homes do not have quality carpeting. If you decide to remove it, start in a corner to make sure it isn't glued down instead of using tack strips. If glued, you will not have a quick fix.
- Q: Can you put an area rug on burber carpet?
- Yes. Make sure you clean/vacuum that area periodically so the berber fibers don't get flattened. Berber is tougher than other carpets, so shouldn't have problem.

- I'd get a knockoff Persian before I'd get carpet remnants, but most stores keep leftovers. Call and ask.
