- Q: What's the function of the engine pump?

At the center of the impeller, the pressure is lowered because the coolant is thrown out, and the coolant in the water tank is sucked into the impeller by the water pipe and the pressure difference between the inlet of the impeller and the center of the impeller to realize the reciprocating circulation of the cooling liquid.
- Q: I have built my own spray rig to water some stock and tanks and a garden. It is a 330 gallon tank and has a spout at the bottom that i am going to connect a multi purpose pump to. My question is what size pump would i need? I have been looking at Atwoods and Tractor Supply and have seen some 2.1 GPM and a 5 GPM pumps i just don't know which would best suit me. i am planning on having the tank on the trailor and running water hose to a sprinkler or two. I would like to know how man sprinklers are possible on this type of system and still keep good pressure. Thanks for any answers.
- It all depends on the size hose you will be using. Anything under a 1 inch will not work well. The pumps you listed are not going to do the job. I can pee more than 5 gals in a minute...lol You need to look into pool pumps and a 3/4hp might do. You will have to reduse from 1 1/2 in to the one inch. Just don't use under one inch. Good luck!

- The water pressure (vacuum) is measured by the vacuum meter. The pressure gauge is used to measure the pressure at the water end, and the difference between the two is the lift of the pump

- yes the ground water in your area is draining back into the ground away from you which is what you want
- Q: I think its the water pump, I fill the coolant with water everyday and it is empty once I make it to my destination.
- Call the shop where you are going to have the work done to get the cost as it varies by area and shop. You really should not be driving it if it's leaking that bad: You stand a chance of warping the head.

- We dont install autozone anything at our shop. I would say no.
- Q: can bad water pump make car overheat?
- The water pump is what moves the coolant through the engine so if it is bad the coolant doesn't get to where it needs to go causing overheating. A bad thermostat will cause the same thing.
- Q: This is a brand new water pump and we used plenty of gasket maker. Does this year of f150 need the back plate that comes on the water pump?
- you okorder /... also important to tighten the water pump in evenly and only use a small thin bead of silicone around the gasket enough to just cover the paper gasket on both sides. it shouldn't be squeezing and oozing out all over the place
- Q: We still have water, but it keeps constantly running, and won't stop. The pump itself got warm/hot, and we're afraid that it's going to get ruined or blow up or something. We turned it off for about 30 minutes, then back on to bottle up some water. It's the middle of a snowstorm, and a horrible time for a water pump to stop working, help please!! - For the best answers, search on this site https://shorturl.im/axU1p If you don't have a valve on the tank then you'll have to turn off the well pump and drain the tank out on the ground with a hose.
