Description of Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pump
CDL/CDLF is a kind of vertical nonself priming multistage centrifugal pump, which is driven by a standard electric motor. The motor output shaft directly connects with the pump shaft through a coupling. The pressure-resistant cylinder and flow passage components are fixed between pump head and in-and outlet section with tie-bar bolts. The inlet and outlet are located at the pump bottom at the same plane. This kind of pump can be equipped with an intelligent protector to effectively prevent it from dry-running, out-of-phase and overload.
Application of Vertical Multistage Centrifugal Pump
It can be used to convey various medium from tap water to industrial liquid at different temperature and with different flow rate and pressure.
CDL type is applicable to conveying non-corrosive liquid, While CDLF is suitable for slightly corrosive liquid.
Water supply: Water filter and transport in Waterworks, boosting of main pipeline, boosting in high-rise buildings.
Industrial boosting: Process flow water system, cleaning system, high-pressure washing system, fire fighting system.
Industrial liquid conveying: Cooling and air-conditioning system, boiler water supply and condensing system, machine-associated purpose, acids and alkali .
Water treatment: Ultrafiltration system, reverse osmosis system, distillation system, swimming pool, separator.
Irrigation: Farmland irrigation, spray irrigation, dripping irrigation

- Q: how do u know when u need to replace ur water pump or how do u know when its not working??? thanks
- The engine will overheat if it's not working at all.
- Q: When we turn our water on in the house it will run for a while and then shut off.. It has been coming back on after 5 0r 6 mins.it used to do this about once a week but now it does it every day we don't mess with any breakers because they don't get triped . We are on well and this well is about 7 yrs old anyone have an idea what could be the problem .. If any more info is needed I can reply..
- ANY extra info is a plus. Well size and construction, depth, water level, production test results, and pumping apparatus, all help in troubleshooting problems. The two most likely things I can think of that would make your water pressure act the way it does are as follows. My first guess is that your pump is capable of pumping more water than the well will produce, thus drawing the level of water in the well down to a point where the pump catches some air and quits pumping. The pump continues to turn and when enough water comes into the well to cover the pump, it's starts to pump water again. Second guess is that you have a thermal overload tripping and when enough time goes by, it resets and turns the pump on again. Overloads often trip when you have a low voltage situation at the motor. You can get low voltage form bad connections @ splices or the contacts of the pressure switch. Most well water systems go a long time between maintenence calls, especially at first when EVERYTHING is new. My advise would be to call the contractor that drilled the well and installed the pumping equipment. Hopefully they are one and the same. The contractor knows the original conditions and all equipment used, even the stuff you can't see. Because the system is relatively new, the original contractor MAY be inclined to cut you a deal on repairs. We don't know how long this problem has existed, but perhaps the system really wasn't up to par right from the start. Good luck. When you talk to the contractor, try not to sound to accusatory. He may have done his best with the geologic and economic set of conditions he was given. Nobody can make gold out of lead.
- Q: I have a 94 Mazda b2300 it was working great last week then all the sudden it started making a knocking sound and started to overheat! Its still drivable but it overheats if i go far! A friend told me it can be the Water Pump so i put a new one, I was told it can be the Thermostat so i had a new one put in. It worked for awhile but began overheating again. My truck is my livelihood so its important i get it fixed! I cant afford a mechanic but just asking to see if anyone knows what it could possibly be? It catches good and the engine sounds strong but it keeps overheating!
- Have the radiator wiped clean out. My Mazda truck radiator did a similar ingredient, and that i trust that you've a similar difficulty. in the experience that they could't clean it on the radiator shop, you're able to replace it.
- Q: For the past couple days my car has been over heating quickly and there ha been some leaking underneath my car. well I went to start my car today to run to the store and the heating gauge was going up and down from overheating to perfectly fine within seconds...I popped the hood and there was antifreeze spraying on the engine. So my friend that I called said that meant there was a leak in my water pump. The autoshop in town is busy with over cars all day, I already called, and there isn't another shop within 15 miles. I work in 3 hours, and the drive is 30 minutes away. I have no other way to get to work, is it safe to drive my car or should I call in and let my manager know I can't make it? I have been working there almost 2 months and have never been late or called in.
- if you are planning on keeping your car you, better get it fix. call your employer and tell him what is wrong. i am sure he would not want you to take a chance.
- Q: motor overheats but no leak. water just boils in resorvoir. is it hard to do it on my own?
- ummm please make sure you have proper coolant and not just water in your rad
- Q: The wiper pump is broken. How much will it cost to fix it?
- Hello, the wiper motor is broken, can only be replaced to solve the problem, different models of price difference is too large, general average car about 60-80. You can go to a few repair shop to ask, OK, you can also match the city or Taobao purchase.
- Q: leaking coolant after the car engine has stoppped
- Some water pumps have weeping holes, if water is coming out of those then it is definitely your problem.
- Q: I have a 2000 A4 1.8 T with 91 k miles on it. I went to the dealer for my oil service. I told them that I hear a quot;clinkingnoise when I start the car and that it goes away after the car runs for 5 minutes. I told them to check this also. They diagnosed and said that the water pump has gone bad and needs to be replaced. Since it was close to 105 K miles, I might as well change the timing belt. Total charges for both is 1250. And they also see that Cam Seals starting to leak oil. Since I was doing the timing belt, I might as well change them too. Additional cost to do them is 950. So the total for all three comes down to 2200. I bought the car at 90 K and checked it at Firestone and they said it was cool. They noticed an oil leak but said it was not anything major that needs to be taken care of right away. Do you think the dealer is taking me for a ride here? I just drove 500 miles and would things go this bad all of a sudden? Or should I make the replacements? Please advise.
- these prices are correct for dealership quote. you will get a cheaper price with independent shop. your timing belt should be changed anytime after 75k miles. the timing belt and belt tensioner will break and you do not want to have replace the cyl. head, it's alot more money. the dealership lied about your water pump. that year the water pump runs off the drive belts not the timing belt. you can replace the water pump and not even touch your timing belt. your cam adjuster seal probably not leaking. what happens is the valve cover leaks oil on to the cam adjuster and is commonly mis-diagnosed. try just changing the valve cover gasket, clean up your excess oil and reinspect the seals on the back of your cylinder head after 500 miles. good luck.
- Q: My water pump went out. I had a new water pump put on my accord a year and a month ago. Since then have driven 5-6,000 miles in a small city town. Does this makes sense. Could it be a cheaper water pump was put on my car and it went out. The person who worked on it is a mechanic who does a bunch of cars on the side. Last time he worked on my brakes, I had to bring it back because he put cheap ones on.Can I call this guy back? What could I say?
- Unfortunately most water pumps, even new ones, are warrantied for one year so while you may have to pay for another one I'd be sure whoever I paid for the labor was a different mechanic. Even new pumps can go bad prematurely but a reputable shop would probably make some allowances since its so close to the warranty limits. The other advice given about the coolant is spot on too. It should have been refreshed at the time the pump went in but just because it should have, doesn't mean it was.
- Q: I would like a website that has pictures but any info would be helpful...
- you can buy books from any local auto shops like PEP Boys or AUTOZONE.
