- Q: I have a power adapter that goes to a mixer (Denon DN-MC6000) and reads: INPUT 100-240V ~ 50/60Hz 1.5A, OUTPUT: 12V - 3A. Now I know this is the right adapter but I don't know if I have the right cable that goes from the adapter to the wall. I have one that says 6A 250V~ but I dunno if its the right one. I have a few others but can someone tell me what will be the right one so I don't blow up my mixer :P thanks
- Hi, The adapter to the tip is the important part. Whatever fits from the adapter to the wall doesn't have much to do with anything. Anything that fits the adapter, physically.
- Q: I'm building another computer to give to someone, i have all the parts and when it got down to installing the CD drive and the Hard drive i plugged the sata cables into the motherboard but when i looked to install them to the power supply mine did not have any of those cables. I had spare cables from my other power supply but they require you to plug them into the power supply but since the other power supply is older it doesn't work. I was wondering if i could get cables that plug into the extra connectors then to the CD drive/ Hard drive instead of plugging them into the power supply then the CD drive/ Hard drive.
- Handycam Camcorders do no longer draw potential from USB. you may desire to purchase a replace potential grant cable. while you're taking the camcorder to a place like superb purchase or Radio Shack, you may in all likelihood get a clean cable for little or no money (regardless of if that's not the best Sony cable).
- Q: im looking to put a switch into the power cable for my amp so that it i can turn it on and off. what is the best way to do this? cheers
- Why not just put the switch on the remote blue wire? After all tht is wht turns ur amp on.
- Q: My laptop cable sometimes won't stay in all the time. When it is connected, it has a blue circle around it, but sometimes that blue circle goes off (while it is plugged into the side of laptop) and the tool bar changes from showing a plug to showing a battery. Would there be something wrong with the cable line and it needs to be replaced?
- the power plug is damaged and will have to be replaced the cost about 90 to 125 dollars. look at it and make sure if it is the plug or the socket
- Q: I am trying to hook up a LCD display (CPU Temp, USB's in use, Memory Temp/usage, etc) and It came with a 5pin DIN connector for what I assume is the power. I am not sure what I need to do to connect it to the PSU. Any help or ideas?
- the connectors are color coded and monitor cables are usually blue so hook it up to the blue connector on the back of the computer.
- Q: in the specs it says the power supply doesn't have a pci-e connector?Does that mean i cant use the video card, or is there a way I dont know? Please help.Thank you very much
- Okay, right off the bat I see a problem with that power supply. Aside from not having a pci-e connection it states it doesn't work with SLI or Crossfire (i.e. Nvidia or ATI). Since you're wanting to get a GeForce card, which works with a mobo with an Nvidia chipset, you'd need a more up-to-date power supply. Second - that card uses 18 amps on the 12-volt rail, and according to the specs on that power supply it runs up to 16 or 17 amps, so the power supply you're looking at isn't powerful enough to support the card. My advice - first make sure your mobo has an Nvidia Chipset. Second, spend a bit more and get a better power supply, and check the voltage - you need at least 18 amps on the 12-volt for that card.
- Q: if found the reistance then what are the acceptable limits such that replace the cable or repair the cable
- See the document by Megger on how to determine if a cable is good and much more. This is a very good document that covers both static (insulation hipot testing) and TDR fault location methods.
- Q: It's a 250GB Western Digital Caviar drive, sold with an iMac back in early 2007... I want to see if I can recover some files from it, but I have no idea where to start.
- Get an external adapter kit. Tiger direct sells them.
- Q: I came out The Netherlands but i moved to Barbados somewhere near South-America in the caribbean. so i just plugged my power cable in the socker and first my xbox didnt work so i conected it to a voltage adaptor so my xbox voltage would go down so when i turned it on i was happy because it finally was on but like after ten seconds the little light on my power cable turned red ! does anyone maybe know how to fix this cause i want to play my xbox realy bad lolThanks alot,Greetings Noah.
- attempt taking all the cables out from the back of your xbox and tv and re-attaching them correct. If this would not artwork, evaluate going to the microsoft internet site under the help section, and notice in case you will detect the answer. If not, then ring them up for unfastened and that they permit you to appreciate.
- Q: I currently have a vibe amp wired in that my front speakers run off, im thinking about gettin an Edge sub with a built in amp so was wandering if id have to wire in a new power lead or if i could run them both of the one thats already running to the battery? Also how would i get rca cables running to each if i only have one output on my stereo? Thanks
- yes i used the same power wire and just split all my wires for my second amp and everything is fine but i made a new ground for it. it will work fine but make sure you have a good battery or its gonna die, i made sure i got a life time warrenty so i can just take them back and get a brand new one whenever it dies.
