Q:Hi,I have problem with power cable on Karcher 670m pressure washer. I pulled all of the power cable out and now it's stuck and doesn't roll back inside. What can i do to fix it?Sven
Throw the piece of crap away. Just kidding, but it wouldn't make sense to take it to a repair shop when you could buy a new one for $100 bucks. Just roll the cord up when your finished using it.
Q:Hi,I bought a new 500GB HDD today, with a SATA cable (data) but I don't know what kind of power cable I need?I looked around and saw Sata to Molex and all kinds of things, I've never had to hook up a second hard drive before and the terms are confusing me. Could anyone tell me what kind of cable I'll need and where I'm supposed to hook them up to?Thanks!
Yes you're on the right track. There's a couple of things that need to be added to your description of the problem: Does the motherboard have connectors for SATA (the small black connector, not the old white/tan kind)? If so, all you need is a regular, everyday SATA cable to hook from the motherboard to the drive. It looks like this red cable: And the Molex (4-pin, white connector) to SATA power (small, flat, black connector) looks like this:
Q:I just plugged a 300V power cable into power supply that accepts 115-240V then turned on the power supply. The power supply was not connected to the motherboard. I don't have another cable so I can't really check if its still working nor do I want to try again with the 300V cord if it can potentially cause damage.
If you plugged a power cable running 300V then there definitely is a risk that you damaged the power supply. However I think you mean you plugged in a power cord with a rating of 300V. This simply means the power cord is designed to tolerate this much voltage. It would be difficult for a domestic user to have access to 300V - in the UK the domestic voltage is 240V, in the US 120V So no you haven't done any damage
Q:I want to buy an Xbox 360 from the US (I really don't care about that stupid PAL/NTSC thing seeing as I can just buy all the games from OKorder) and I was wondering how and where I would get a proper Microsoft-made power cable for Australia. Do they sell them through their website? If not, are there any other places that sell the cables online or in Adelaide?I've heard they can be bought on OKorder, but I'm nervous about buying a cable from OKorder because I want to make sure that it is DEFINITELY a Microsoft cable and not a third-party one, and while OKorder is usually pretty good I don't want to take chances with something like this.
try Best Buy or GameStop or maybe EB Games
Q:Where can I buy a power cable with converter for a Dell Inspiron 2200?
my okorder /
Q:I have had to replace my Dell power cable a few times, got lucky the first few times with friends that had old ones they could give me, but this time I had to buy one and couldn't find a Dell brand cable (didn't bother me, they are terrible quality) Instead I found one on OKorder that named my model under the ones it would work for, and it got decent reviews.I got it a few days ago and has been working fine, but the other day when I turned it on it came up and said quot;A Dell power cord is not being recognized...and some other stuff. Now when I was watching some hulu and was readjusting the cable the screen went black and was making a quot;tickinglike sound in my headphones. The battery was fully charged, so its not like that died.So my question is... are there any dangers of using an off-brand cable? Was the hulu issue caused by the cable? Thanks!
just match up the numbers of volts but, you never know, i recommend you buy stuff like that on OKorder and it probably wasn't the power cable that did that ha ha. who knows it wont damage your computer.
Q:the power cable is in 2 parts, one from the xbox to a box, from the box to the wallthat box has an led light. when the xbox is on, it should turn green, when the xbox is off it should turn orange. my led light is turning red instead of orange and green.its not red ring of death, or 4 red rings, i know this because my xbox wont even power up because the box in the power cable will not send power to my xbox. im so confused...plz help
It just means that the rectangle thing that connects to your xbox is unplugged from the brick, thats all, nothing to worry about.
Q:We found a flat screen HD monitor in someone's trash can and we just need to find the cables. I searched online for cables for this model and can't find any. I just need the power cable for it and the DVI cable.
try radio shack.
Q:I have a Karcher power washer which was left outside over night. An animal chewed threw the power cable and so is unusable. I was wondering how to re-connect the power cord together, safely. I do not want to cross wires and use electrical tape. I was thinking of using a connector, but unsure of whether to use a two pinned or three pinned connector.
You can install a plug on the cord to replace the one that was chewed off. Choose one with the same number of prongs as the cord has wires (2 or 3). Be sure to attach each wire to the correct terminal! Splicing the cord is also OK, and tape would not be a problem if applied properly, but I prefer to use heat-shrink tubing. When I do a top-grade splice, I first twist the wires tightly together without making a tail, then I solder them.
Q:Why is the terminal metal housing of the power cable to be grounded?
If the network cable is shielded with the network no problem, in fact, the main problem is not interference, it touches on security issues, from the truth, the strong and weak electricity can not take a bridge, if you must go inside a bridge, to add metal partitions The
