Q:My hard disk power cable was burned and when i connected my HD to another system, it is working....so what could be the problem in my pc???
The ability cable pin is truthfully a cable that connects the flexibility grant to the hot HDD, then you quite decide for a RIBBON cable to connect the motherboard-HDD-CD ROM and new HDD. whilst they are all related and you boot up the laptop will observe new hardware.
Q:Whenever I unplug the power cable, the laptop starts to lag, bad, and yes I do have a fully charged battery. This has been happening ever since I got the thing, and no it has nothing to do with the battery, and no matter how many times I re-plug the cable and take it out again, or just leave it in, it continues to lag. The only time it stops is when I reboot, at least until I unplug it again. Also, it has nothing to do with the performance battery plan. Any ideas? This is really annoying.
Do you mean lag as in a slow OS. Well- Where is your SPEEDSTEP set at in your BIOS? You may have 3 or 2 settings which ARE affected when your Cable Power is removed it will go to a Bit Slower Processor Speed to prolong the battery. If after you change the settings in BIOS and it does this again, its likely need to be sent back for repair under Warranty as this is NOT Normal...
Q:Welding cable (230v) doesn't, so why would (14v) car audio cables
RCA Cables: These are the cables used to transfer pre-amp (line level) signals. Usually, you use this type of cable for unamplified signals such as the connection between your head unit and amp or crossovers/eqs. Look for appropriate thickness and shielding. The end connectors should be sturdy to prevent breakage from stress. Some claim that very expensive cable makes a difference in sound quality. I do not think so, do not spend more than $1/foot. You may need to spend more to get cables that are more immune to noise if you have that problem in your car
Q:In the middle of the page there is a section called Connectors, i suppose those are the cables attatched to the PSU, but in total there are 17 cables so maybe i am wrong???It says that there are 6 SATA Cables that look like SATA Power Cables and are i guess haha.I'm pretty sure that the answer is yes, the PSU does have 6 SATA Power Cables attatched to it, but i mean when spending $750 on a gaming computer i wanna be sure lol.
SATA Power Connector: 6 - YES it does have. If your spending $750 on a computer i'd suggest you get a branded power supply, they last longer and will supply your video card with enough juice to get the job done. what kind of video card are you getting? depending on what card your getting 500 watts may or may not be enough, as the new nvidia cards are very juicy :)
Q:what kind of power supply cable plugs into the hard drive?
they are called molex connectors, for optical and hard drives, berg connector for floppy drive
Q:Regarding car audio setup, if I were to have an 8 ga power cable powering an amplifier for subs, what would happen if I were to use a smaller ga grounding cable? What if I used a larger ground cable?
alphadog and danhandi are correct. The actual wire size for 200 amps is 3/0, but the NEC allows you to use 2/0 for dwelling units. The allowable neutral would be 1/0 and the ground would be 6 AWG. This is for copper only as dan said.
Q:theres a red wire, black and yellow. i turned the power supply to the shower off at the main switch board. but when cutting through the cables to repair it it nocked off another switch on the switch board even though the shower is on its own circuit. does this mean there is still power in the wires and is there any power in the yellow wire (earth). witch is the live wire red or black?
Power near shower or to? You have 220 power and both the red and black are live (will deliver 110 to earth.)
Q:When I plug and unplug a power cable to the net in my home for let's say, 50.000 times a day, why doesn't my electricity-meter not count that power for the monthly electricity fee? When I unplug the cable the cable should still have some electricity flowing through it at the moment of unplugging. That electricity disappears very shortly after . But after unplugging it, it doesn't have any electricity anymore. So some electricity is lost right? How does this work?
by electricity I assume you mean electrical energy. power is the rate at which electrical energy is consumed. Power is generated by the flow of electrical current across a potential difference. Let's use an analogy. A cable is like a water pipe. Current is like the flow of water in the pipe. Pressure is like potential difference (voltage). When there is a difference in pressure at the two ends of the pipe, water will flow through the pipe. The flow of water carries energy, because it can be used to spin a paddle wheel (motor), and the friction of the water against the pipe (electrical resistance) generates heat. I think your question is something to the effect of, if I suddenly remove the pressure difference across the pipe, won't there still be energy in the water flowing in the pipe, and isn't that energy wasted? Well, there's a difference between water and electrical current: the electron hardly weighs anything. There's very, very little energy stored in the motion of electrons in a wire. When the wire is disconnected, the electrons come to a stop almost immediately, and the amount of energy wasted is infinitesimal. I hope that sort of answers your question.
Q:I just purchased and mounted my 52lcd and I cut holes to run the HDMI cables behind the wall. As I was snaking the power cable, I realized this might not be the best way. Is there anything I need to do (I only have basic 'contracting' skills) to keep my install fire code safe?
Sorry dude you have me there... Running the power cable behind the wall is clear and ok but what has your install fire code got to do with running a cable behind a wall...??
Q:What is the distance between the power cable and the thermal pipe when it is laid above the thermal pipe?
How do you not say that the three-phase system or two-phase system, if the two systems is the power in addition to the voltage is equal to the current, three-phase power per kilowatt multiplied by 2 equal to the current, such as 220V, 3000W / 220V = 13.6A, 380V, 3KW * 2 = 6A. Wire 10 square below, each square can be with 5A, which is the calculation of aluminum core line, copper wire line operator count, 220V aluminum core must be greater than 2.5 square, copper core must be greater than 1.5 square, 380V with aluminum core The line must be greater than 1.5 square and the copper wire must be greater than 1 square. At this time should also consider the equipment to start the current and increase the appropriate diameter.
