3) What is the difference of Wilton Carpet and Axminster carpet

Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

Q: if i use oxyclean and water in my floor scrubber for a cleaner to do my whole carpets will it work nice?: Do not use laundry products on your carpet, they may contain harmful bleach additives that will damage the carpet dyes, especially if the carpet is Nylon. what ever soap you use, use very little as these toy machines do not have the ability to properly rinse the soap from the carpet fibers. Any soap residue left behind will become a dirt/soil magnet and the carpets, especially the traffic areas will quickly re soil.

Q: I have a big rug in my bedroom which I would like to bring to school- however it smells bad from jsut being on the floor for so long. I would like to clean it just enough so that it won't stink up my dorm room WITHOUT calling a carpet cleaner. Any suggestions?: You don't say what the rug is made of....if it's the kind that folds up easily and can go into a big machine at the laundromat...then wash it that way (using a good detergent and Tide Stain Release in-wash booster packet and add some good fabric softener).... If it's the kind of carpet that needs shampooing: then rent a machine that will clean the carpet with some good carpet cleaner (go to Walmart...they have Bissell's Pet Remover solution or WM also has their version at cheaper price. This solution is great at removing strong odors from carpets and leaves a great scent). OK...you don't want to call a cleaner...and if you don't want to rent a machine either: how about trying a good steam cleaner and running it over and over the rug to sanitize and clean it? May need spot remover for stubborn stains where you see them. You'll have to put a little effort into this project if you want to live comfortably with the finished product.

When a person pays rent they usually pay a security deposit that is for any damages to the property and I would say that dog urine is damage and the carpet should have been replaced instead of being cleaned. I would not try to clean it in any way because it is the responsibility of the landlord to make sure that the rental property is clean and not in any violation with any health codes.
