Q: Do you know of any device or method to keep a button pressed? I'm talking about real life - physical - buttons of electronic appliances, not buttons of software applications (since these are the only results I find in Google).
Tape or a weight. If it has to stay pressed permanently, JB weld a bolt onto it and let it dry, then put nuts on it until it's heavy enough to hold it down ( only if tape won't work ). The absolutely permanent solution is to open up the device, find where the button is, and use a bit of solder to short the button on the PCB. Electrical tape works, but so does a hammer. I've occasionally actually used a hammer carefully balanced on a key to keep that key pressed for awhile. But I highly recommend tape as the least destructive solution. Q: I'm trying to submit some new about our company to some press release sites. They say please only submit press-release not articles What the difference in this case ?
Articles are written from an outside agency...press releases are produced by the company itself.
Q: i actually bought some hair stuff for my hair and one of them is pressing oil but i don't know what is it for
Pressing hair is just what it says, oil for pressing your hair, for straigtening your hair, for African American hair, not for Caucasian hair, never heard of them using it. Why did you purchase this item?
Q: i wanna try press on nails, and do them myself, but before buying it i wanna know do they ruin your nails? and how can i put them on, so my nails don't get destroyed! can i put a strengther on before i stick the nail on?help?!xoxoDsaysrawr
Press ons will not damage ur nails as much as glue ons, but press ons come off easier than glue ons. You. Nail strengthener is always a good idea V V V check link
Q: I want to keep my uniforms looking new and not worn out from the washing machine...I was wondering if the permanent press cycle will help my clothes last longer...
it makes a great distinction. the well-liked cycle ought to be soft or comfortable. receives them basically as sparkling with out beating them to loss of life. attempt everlasting press, short cycle, in chilly wash and rinse. No cause to ever wash one thing in warm water, ever.
Q: Hi there! Okay, I'm doing a square cross stitch design, and at the moment its in an oval frame to keep it tight. But eventually when its finished I'm going to want to frame it, and when I remove the oval, there's going to be the oval crease in it. So how can I combat this? Do I just continue stitching inside the oval until I can't anymore, remove it, do the rest of the design and then iron it afterwards? In the instructions it has got how to press it, face down with the iron on medium, but I just thought I'd double check so I don't make a mess of it in the end. Thanks a lot in advance! :)
You do exactly what you just said, mine have always turned out beautifully flat after pressing.
Q: im 15 years old and the guy raped me over the summer he is old enough to go to jail.. and if i press charges he will go to jail.im just worried about the whole process hes going to make me look so bad he is prolly gonna say that i wanted to do it or hes gonna say it never happened at all. if you were in my situation what would you do?i have to see this guy everyday in school and it makes me cry i feel so worthless and stupid.
Yes you should try to press charges. That is the simple answer. Its going to be harder at this point since you didn't report it right a way. A lot of the evidence that law enforcement would need will have gone. But I would still try. Who knows, he might have done it to someone else, more recently. And your testimony in her case or hers in yours can get this guy off the streets. From personal experience, guys that wont take no for an answer have done it in the past and will do it again.
Q: Beginning in the 1300s, Europeans overturned many of the structures and idea of the Middle Ages. How did the printing press contribute to this revolution?
There is no definate multiple of your bodyweight that you should be able to squat or leg press. It varies from person to person as each individual has a different proportion of fast and slow twitch muscle fibres in their body. Those with more fast twitch tend to have more explosive power, so could leg press say 160kg 4 times at most, however, a person with more slow twitch fibres may be able to leg press 100kg 15 times. Squatting is a compound exercise, and therefore requires a number of muscles to a) provide the motion and b) to stabilize and support those of part a. Typically, you will be able to squat less that when on a leg press because you have the stability to account for. But, squats are a better measure for lower body strength because it requires all of the links to be strong in order to be able to lift safely. For a leg workout in the gym, make squatting the first exercise. This means your legs are completely fresh. Then do the leg press. This is as if you did the leg press forst, you'd be weaker on the squat and may run the risk of serious injury if you get a 'twinge'. Personally, I weight 80KG and can squat 105KG for 12 reps (going so that my hamstrings are parallel to the floor at the bottom of the movement) but can leg press (after squats) 140KG for 12 reps. So from my ability, it would be about 1.4 times the squat. Machines will vary as each has different friction levels and provides a different path of motion for the body to travel.
Q: Does anyone own the cookie press from pampered chef? How do you like it? Are there any issues you have with it?
Hi I have one and love it. I find it is really easy to use. There are just two key things to remember. One is that you need to press the cookies out onto wax paper and then put the sheets of paper on the stone or cookie sheet you have to bake on. The other key thing is keep the cookie dough a bit chilled so it presses out easier.
Q: My brother has been pressing my nose and 2 me it looks wider I'm really upset.
You'd have to press a weight against your nose and strap it around your head for a long time and then stretch your nostrils sideways to make your nose look wide. If you give in to your fear you'll start believing it. If it's really getting wider it's because it's naturally wide, not because your envious brother is pressing it. Punch his nose in if he keeps doing it. If you want, take a photo of your face every week for a few weeks and compare.
