- Well a hard press just temporarily straightens your hair where as a relaxer permanently straightens it. So since you only got your hair press, your hair is likely to absorb moisture and puff up. So try to avoid water, rain, sweating, humidity(hot weather) and steam from the shower (you have to tie your hair up). But those are all preventative measures and it seems like the damage has already been done. You probably need to run through it again with a flat iron.
- Q: I am looking to get into reloading. What brand press should I get? I want a press that will do it all, prime, re-size etc. Also is it better to get a full kit or build my own from different manufacturers like say and RCBS press, Lyman scale, and Lee dies etc. Please help.
- I okorder and now have a fantastic scale... and it was cheaper by 50% than the short lived RCBS. I weigh every charge of every load so a good scale means a lot to me. This isn't just my opinion. My chronograph also says this scale out performs that POS RCBS scale. I'm also a firm believer in Lee dies... I think they're the most bang for the buck.

- a press is a big machine that presses out components like panels for a car door etc, the setter is a person that sets the machine up for doing this, like getting the measurements right and the press parts all in the right place ready for manufacture

I am an athlete, I do MMA and I am a competitive black belt in Tae Kwon Do. How much should I ideally be pressing?
- Not considering your injury as a fighter you shouldn't be trying to go too high and get muscle bound legs. If you can press 700 you might have a tree-trunk of a leg and it will be rooted to the floor like one. You want fast twitch in the smaller muscles to be able to have control over your legs for both kicking and supporting yourself. I don't think leg press is the best option either. It isolates the quads for aesthetic purposes. You'll look nice but you won't have the full cascade of muscles to have a great kick and you can end up imbalanced real quick too. You want to find more integrative movements that let you use you whole body or at least your whole leg cascade. As for the surgery, I can't speak much about it but I'd say listen to your doctor. If he says balls to the wall, go for it. But if he says you need to work in slowly or never go over a certain weight, listen to him. You might be able to kick the hell out of everyone but you're still a weak little child if you can't trust someone or take the advice of someone who inherently knows better.

- Bench press is the same sort of thing except done with free weights not on a pin loaded piece of equipment. There are some things to bear in mind: The bar weighs 44lb alone. You also have to control any lateral movement in the bar at the same time as well. Give it a go but don't be disconcerted if it seems harder at first. Don't try and lift too heavy at first, the object is to help not hurt yourself. Keep your feet flat on the floor, don't listen to any clown who tells you to put them up on the bench, this only creates imbalance and you have to use more strength in keeping balanced so you'll lift less. Try and keep your shoulder blades pinched together and concentrate on your chest when you lift. Mostly, good luck and happy lifting.

- A press pot uses a coarse grind, (the grinder in your supermarket will be marked for it). They use no filter, so to speak, as the plunger has a screen to act as a filter. You might want to include a coffee scoop and a bag of properly ground dark roast. Just about any place that sells coffee makers should have them.
