FAQ
Q: What is the material of your Carpets?
A: The material is 150D polyester silk or 1200D polyester silk. We can also choose material as customers’ requirement.
Q: How can I get some samples of Carpets?
A: We are honored to offer you samples.
Q: How does your factory do regarding quality control of Carpets?
A: Quality is priority. Jiaxunda people always attach great importance to quality controlling from the very beginning to the very end. many times of inspection
will take place during the production.
- Q: my cat is scratching where the carpet meets the door frame. i am wondering if there is such a thing that will hug the door frame and protect the carpet on the floor. if i could attach the a picture i would.
- Don't bother. You cover that up and the cat will go elsewhere. Get a scratching post, or leave it until the cat dies
- Q: My mother recently passed away. I had prepaid her rent for a full year. The bedroom had several stains on it and I recognize the carpet needed to be replaced, and I'm OK with paying for it. The bedroom is around 200 square feet in Connecticut. The landlord took the opportunity to replace the carpet with hardwood. He told me the carpet would have cost $600 installed but he paid extra for the hardwood out of his own pocket. The carpet that was there previously was the cheapest contractor grade material you can imagine. I have a hard time believing it cost $600 at $3 a square foot for cheap carpet installed. Should I be pressing this? I figured it would be $300 - $400, max, for similar off-white basic carpet.
- Is there hardwood flooring underneath the carpet? If so, it would be refinishing job which can be between $1.50-2 sq foot. Otherwise, if it is an installation job, you're looking at about $3 sq foot plus materials
- Q: I am new to weaving and inherited a loom. I a looking for opinions on the best websites to buy warp for my loom. I am looking for the best price, etc. I need to buy 360 spools.
- 360 okorder too. If you're a new weaver, better to start off with the materials for one rug first.
- Q: I have carpet beetles. Will carpet cleaning kill them? If not, what should I do to get rid of them that is pet friendly.
- I have had a major problem with black and variated carpet beetles and no matter what I did, they kept coming back! I don't want to buy bug spray because I have a 6 month old boy. Recently I went on a whim and started spraying down the baseboards with colgate pro health mouth wash since someone told me it works for bugs and then I did an experiment. I found a beetle escaping running across the kitchen floor so I sprayed him and he was running, running, running then fell over dead! I decided to add some lavender oil drops to the mix to make it smell nice. Then, I was cleaning the bedroom and I had found a carpet beetle larvae out of its hiding spot so I took it and put it into an empty container and sprayed it with mouth wash and took it out right away on a dry piece of paper and only after a few seconds, it was dead. Try mouth wash. So far it seems to be an effective way of killing them- all life stages. Since the stuff doesnt have alcohol and if you spray the baseboards only, it shouldn't be a problem as long as you don't make a pool of it.
- Q: Can I use hydrogen peroxide for my carpet cleaning machine to clean the carpet?
- I once got a nasty vomit stain in my oatmeal color carpets, I tried to clean it with regular Resolve but it didn't work. In desperation, knowing that dishwasher detergent is excellent to remove grease stains in white clothing, I used it on the carpet, and Eureka!!!!!, the stain disappeared completely. So, I decided to try using dishwashing detergent instead of the regular carpet detergent solution in the carpet cleaning machine and my carpets returned to it's original gorgeous color and all stains were gone. The carpets not only were cleaner, they smelled wonderful. Another good point of using dishwashing detergent is that is very low suds so it leaves no residue.
- Q: I have a bissel carpet shampooer. I use that wit hot water and the bissel cleaning solution... Which is okay working.. But I need to DEEP clean my carpets. Whats the best cleaning solutions I can use in my shampooer or pour directly on the stains? The stains are mostly pet stains (no odor) and the stairs get bad because of all the foot traffic. Any diy home remedies or anything really, thanks!
- I've had my own carpet cleaner for years, and I like to go to the janitorial aisle of a big box hardware store and buy the off-brand gallon-size carpet cleaner. It's cheaper than the name brands (which are close to $20 now) and better. To get the deep stains, the trick is to pre-soak them with a mixture of the carpet cleaner and Oxi-Clean (assuming your carpet is not wool, in which case you cannot use Oxi-Clean). Let the cleaning solution sit there for a while, then go over it with the carpet cleaner. Finally, for those stained and extra dirty areas, there's value in finishing the process by placing old towels and the carpet and standing on them to soak up any remaining moisture (dirty water). Best of luck.
- Q: My Water Heater and flooded about 10 x 10 carpet area. What do i do? anyone have recommendation for those carpet cleaners rented at ACO, Home depot?
- Just use a wet/dry vac suck up the water. The real problem will be drying out the carpet before it gets moldy.
- Q: well lately I pour my semen on the rug when I masturbate:/the day after that area turns rough...Can I clean it with water and soup? :Dany good way to clean the whole mess up?I hate this habit :/
- Since semen is a protein, you can use anything that will dissolve protein stains. Resolve which is for carpets, will get out protein stains.
- Q: My new living arrangement will be in the basement of a house my friends and I are renting. The house is kind of older, so it's going to be kind of tricky finding good newer style furniture that won't clash with the rooms. The basement has gray carpet (blah) with wooden walls that have sort of a mix of green and light brown color.
- I love the idea with the navy and the orange! Very cute, modern, and classy. The walls might not match, but its worth a try. I think it will work. This may seem a little crazy, but you could get like the paint swatches at Lowe's or Home Depot of navy, orange, grey, or whatever colors you want and hold them up to the walls to see if they clash. It's worth a try.
- Q: could i turn my highland out in winter with a summer turnout/sheet with a rambo fleece underneath ( best fleece on the market ) because hes a highland i dont want him caked in thick heavy turnouts. i just think a summer turnout would be enough to keep the snow off his fleece which is really what i want. i will only use this method on snowy/frosty days.
- Yeah maybe. But the thin rug may rip easily if he rolls on frosty ground and catches himself, or the snow may melt in the middle of the night and the water will seep through the rug and soak the fleece. You would be better off buying a proper turnout rug. Just use a old summer sheet and see if it works, if not, buy a turnout rug. Good luck! x x :)
