Wilton carpet, like Axminster carpet, is woven. However the difference between the two methods is the way in which the carpet is woven. Whereas the Axminster yarn is woven into each weft and then cut to the required pile height and then reinserted when that colour is needed again –the Wilton carpet yarn is a continuous strand woven all the way through.

- Whoa !! ...you dont need to pull the carpet... however it needs to be protected....most common is a canvas tarp sold in paint stores anywhere.....they wont leak thru.. and they are very sturdy so dont worry about tears also there is no need to tape them to the carpet. I am a handyman and painter and have used them for alot of jobs...they never wear out.
- Q: what is the best product to take out ground in dirt and pet messes my carpet is supposed to be green....its black in a majority of spots, and hard in other spots!i mean it doesnt have to be like 100 percent every stain taken outjust so it doesnt look so nasty, and i can actually have people over without them thinking im a slob,because im the complete opposite. my fiancee and and dont have the money right now to have all the carpet replacedand the previous owners (his family) obviously didnt care about the carpet, or cleaning for that matter.any help would be much appreciated.Thanks!

- The only time that I would use vinegar on a carpet is to spot clean a stain like coffee, cola, or chocolate. You mix 1 part vinegar and 2 parts water. Sponge it on, and then keep blotting it with clean cloths until it's gone.

- you need to use a cleaner w/ live bacteria enzimes, poor it on and blot a little, it keeps working for about 2 weeks or until urine is dizolved, you can check it after that to make sure it is gone by using a black light. I have a bad little doggy too

- Potassium permanganate. It will turn everything purple, but it will oxidize the hell out of anything in or on the carpet. Those stains will be gone! But your carpet will be purple.
