- Our carpet has been great it has a stain guard so although a neutral colour we have no permanent marks. It wasn't a cheap carpet, I am not sure of the mix but isn't pure wool. I would think that the carpet selling places would be able to help as we stipulated that we wanted something stain/animal resistant. p.s. our very old dog has become incontinent so we have had alot of accidents lately, our carpet is a plain colour but with an indented square through it, so it gives off different shadings which helps with overall appearance.

- Often nail polish on carpet is just on the very tips of the fibers. If this is the case you can just snip the polish off with sharp scissors. Just cut the very tips of the fibers. Work slowly. Don't cut a single millimeter more than you have to and pull up while cutting. This will help prevent divots in the carpet. Try your best to do just one or two fibers at a time...not a whole clump. This will work unless you have used nail polish remover and have worked the nail polish deeper into the carpet. Also...cutting the nail polish works on shag or plush carpet, but not Berber or loopy carpet. Good luck. -

- No offense but horses dont even need rugs.. I would say weatherbeeta is the best rug you can get. I dont know all my rugs are weatherbeeta.. Well beens hes a TB I would say put a light weight on him. I know TBs tend to be more suceptiable to cold. This is really your choice and if you think he looks cold bring him in and put him in a stall.. (if their is a stall avaible to him)
