Q: What is the best pressing cream or oil that i can purchase and that also stops hair from reverting so easily?
Every hair stylist i've been to doesn't use any. Moisturize your hair before and after you press it. I just use simply gloss after i've blow dryed it. Then I apply more gloss after it done.
Q: Twelve printing presses, all alike, can do a job in 3 hours. How many hours would it take 10 of these printing presses to do the same job?1)2.5 hours2)3.0 hours3)3.6 hours4)4.0 hours
2.5 hours
Q: I have heard that bench pressing is bad for swimmers because it can mess up their range of motion...Is this true?If not, should I consider it as a swimmer and could it help me improve?
I think you should consult a certified trainer, or an experienced athlete (swimmer) for an opinion.
Q: Can you get stronger by doing this, I don't have access to bench pressing.
It depends on how much weight the barbell has. If you have a lot of weight, then yes you can get a lot stronger in place of a bench press. You can do dumbbell bench pressing, which is the same as a bench press but with dumbbells.
Q: I'm am looking for a software that will press a set combination of letter keys with a specified time gap between the key pressing.
I don't know about any programs but this is my Delphi procedure that I use to automate any programs on the computer: procedure SendKey(ControlCode, VKCode, RepeatNum, Delay:Integer; ProgHnd:HWnd); var TempB:Byte; Begin If (Not BringWindowToTop(ProgHnd)) or (Not SetForegroundWindow(ProgHnd)) then Begin MessageDlg('Can''t bring prog window to front.',mtError,[mbOK],0); Halt(0); end; Sleep(10); For TempB:=1 to RepeatNum do begin if ControlCode0 then begin keybd_event(ControlCode,0,2,0); sleep(10); keybd_event(ControlCode,0,0,0); sleep(10); keybd_event(VKCode,0,0,0); sleep(10); keybd_event(VKCode,0,2,0); {2=KEYEVENTF_KEYUP} sleep(10); keybd_event(ControlCode,0,2,0); end else begin keybd_event(VKCode,0,0,0); sleep(10); keybd_event(VKCode,0,2,0); {2=KEYEVENTF_KEYUP} end; end; Sleep(Delay); end; And use a line like this in the program to call it: SendKey(vk_menu,vk_f4,1,100,hndNotepad... VK_MENU = What Windows calls the ALT key. VK_F4 = The scankey code for F4. 1 = Press the key combination once. 100 = Wait 100ms after doing the key combination. hndNotepad = the handle of a notepad window. This will send ALT-F4 to the notepad window defined by hndNotepad. Get hndNotepad with: hndNotepad:=FindWindow(nil,'Untitled - Notepad') Just change 'Untitled - Notepad' to whatever program you want to send the keystrokes to or you can also use: hndProg:=GetForegroundWindow(); This will grab the handle of any window that currently has focus. If you can get even an old version of Delphi, this code should work and you can do a lot more than just sending keystrokes to programs. Controlling the mouse is just as easy and it's fun being able to automate any program on the computer.
Q: I need a pressed powder foundation, but I don't know which one to buy. I have NO acne, etc. very fair skinned (with neutral undertones). Can you suggest a brand? Feel free to add anything else. Thanks! (:
if you're willing to spend for a good one to maintain clear skin, go for clinique or lancome other than that, i'm a covergirl/maybelline girl :) sometimes n.y.c. is good, but i think that's not too good on my skin. i was really clear, but then i started using nyc bronzer on my cheekbones and i don't think that's doing so well. remember, if you want a quality one, you may have to pay a little more, but in the end, i think it's worth it! :) good luck! hope i helped!
Q: Will US Customs press charges against a Canadian?I was shipping some personal items (clothing, books, documents etc.) to the US through UPS from Canada and US Customs found a very small amount (only 2 pill bottles) of what they call steroids. I was told that the packages were returned to Sender (Sender being me) as a result. Will US Customs pursue this further? Will they press charges? What will more than likely happen? I am a Canadian citizen.
I wouldn't say that two bottles are a very small amount. It is doubtful that US Customs will pursue you in another country, especially if they are legal in your country.
Q: What's wrong with a wood plate bent out of a cold press? Board 2 meters long, 15 centimeters wide, a pressure of 7, tile solution!!I use a cold press, not a hot press.
This has to do with the glue, the pressure, and the stress of the material, and the temperature of the season
Q: So I am going to Disney World either next summer or 2010 and i want to get my aunt a purse. Where can i find a purse that is inexpensive and fun? Then i thought about doing the coin press. is it worth .51 or more to do just one or what do you suggest as souviners?
you can find purses at nearly every gift shop in disney world. depending on how big it is, the characters that are on it, and the material its made of it will run you anywhere from $10-$50ish. and there are coin press machines all over the place. each machine is unique and has different pics to choose from. its worth the 51 cents if you have some shiny pennies and like the picture options. but i wouldn't go that cheap with ssouvenirs you could get magnets, jewelry charms, pens with little characters on top, key chains, little stuffed animals with magnetic hands and feet and much more for about $5 a piece. so you still wouldn't be spending big bucks but those types of ssouvenirsdon't make you look like a cheapskate.
Q: Today he smacked me across the face because I almost turned in some reports late. I know that he has a drinking problem, so I can understand why he would want to hit me, and I'm not really mad. Should I press charges?
Yes! you should press charges against your boss. There is no excuse....it shouldnt matter if he has a drinking problem or if you turned your reports in late noone has a right to put their hands on you especially at a place of work. You should also ask your co workers about it see if he has physically done anything to them this could be a serious matter i wouldnt look over it just because he drinks
