1.The origin of technicalspecifications
The related requirements of this test technical specifications are come fromK411.2.3 working group about PV-system wire of Germany standardization committee.
This will be released as German national standard.
Germany Rhine TUV (Shanghai) will use the technicalspecification to test and evaluate the performance of PV - cable.
The file number of the technical specification is 2PFG1169/08.2007in German Rhine TUV company.
2.The range of application
2PFG1169/08.2007 is suitable for 1.8kV ( the maximum kilovolt )(conductor-conductor,non earthed system) DC voltage and the flexible single-core cable (wire) of DCside in PV system.
Theproduct shall be used under class II security level.
The highest temperature of the cable operating environment shall up to90℃.
The cable can be used in parallel of many cores .
3. The specialterminology
PV system(Photovoltaic system): PV solarsystem.
DC side: the parts between PV battery and DC terminalof PV converter in PV device.
The open circuit voltage in the standard testconditions (UOC STC): the PV modules, PV wire, PV array, PV generator of not under load (opencircuit) or the voltage in DC side of PV converter in the standard testconditions.
The short circuit current in the standard test conditions(ISCTC): the short circuit current in PV modules, PV wire,PV arrays or PV generatorin the standard test conditions.
- Q: my tv is mounted on the wall, and my friend came round and we tryed to plug in his ps3 and we knocked the main power plug from the tv.we have fiddled about for around an hour looking for wer it came from and need help before my mam gets back!
- It's in the back, near the main power switch but it's up and under. Look from the bottom up and you should see it
- Q: What is a PVC Power Cable and what is its application?
- Electrical PVC wiring in general refers to insulated conductors used to carry electricity, and associated devices. PVC Power cables may be installed as permanent wiring within buildings, buried in the ground, run overhead, or exposed. PVC Power Cables are used for high-voltage (more than 35,000 volts). Thanks,
- Q: Allready got 2 1 Tb's external with power cable.Thinking of buying another 1TB, should i go with power cable or not?I was told the ones with Power cable are **** and wont last long :S?I think, that it would perform abit better since its not drainning my Laptops Usb Power?
- As okorder /... Both ESATA and USB 2.0. The bomb. My enclosures are all pretty generic. Good luck.
- Q: I want to tidy up all of the cables behind my desk. I have some of that special plastic wrap to do it, but I'm worried about overheating and induction. How many mains voltage power cables can I safely have in a single bundle? What about speaker cables and TV/monitor cablesHow can I tell if I have bundled up too many cables together, are there any warning signs?
- You should have no problem keeping the power cables separate from any audio or video cables. You might get some interference from the power cables if you don't.
- Q: cable or do they need certain ones, I ask because this PSU: has no power cable with it so will i have to get a certain power cable for that wattage or are they all the same???please answer, 10 points for first answer
- no they do not. 75% follow PSU Standand for atx design then you have 25 specialist for mini and Compact design
- Q: cable laid in the GI trays and temperature is 30 digree centigrade
- There is no definite safe formulas for your cables because it depends on many factors like what conductor . what insulation, how many cores ,what is your load , where is your load and ambient temperature and so on. The best guidance will be from the particular manufacturer who would provide the tables under various conditions as above.
- Q: Electrical equipment installation project "power cable laying" cable cross-sectional area refers to the cable cross-sectional area, or refers to the copper core cross-sectional area, such as 3 × 25mm2 refers to 25mm. 75mm2 or cable cross-sectional area of 490mm2? More
- Calculation method: the amount of engineering calculation formula: L = (pipe length calculation + wire reserved length) × with the number of cross-section wire. Note: plastic pipe should not be flattened, cracks, no debris in the tube, cut the mouth should be flat, the nozzle should be shaved plastic wire pipe connection using glue bonding, plastic pipe bonding must be tightly tight, and in the pipeline plug on the plastic pipe plug, to prevent the paddle, plug tube concrete floor, wall and brick structure of the various switches, socket bottom box , The lamp junction box and the pipe connection must be connected with the wiring, is strictly prohibited plastic pipe directly into the junction box dark in the concrete junction box requirements with wet cement paper or plastic foam filled with internal, not allowed to use The cement paper packs its outside. Embedded in the floor, the shear wall of the plastic pipe, the junction box should be fixed firmly to prevent the shift
- Q: im curious to know if using multiple small cables to power my amp is the same or better than using a single big one??like do three 4gauge wires give more power than one 1/0 gauge wire? or is it worse?and how do i know if my amp needs more current?? THANKS
- Running 2 seperate power cables is fine. In theory the current will split and each cable will carry the same amount of current. In reality, it will not be exact but it will be so friggin close that it doesn't matter!!! Yes you can run multiple cables, but two lengths of 4ga is going to cost you more than one length of 2ga. Unless you already have the stuff laying around, just get the larger cable. Besides, if you run two seperate cables, you will need to use some sort of distribution block to tie the two cables back together at the amp then have a conductor capable of carrying the current to your amp, or all your heavy cable doesn't mean squat. Less money will be spent in the long run by using one larger cable! As for how much current a size cable can carry: 14ga = 15A 12ga = 20A 10ga = 30A 8ga = 80A 6ga = 105A 4ga = 140A 2ga = 190A 1ga = 220A 1/0 = 260A 2/0 = 300A These wire ampacities are according to the NEC (National Electrical Code) and are set for wire to be used in any structure. The wire can actually carry more current than what I have listed, taking consideration that the wire is in an environment that it can be cooled or is in an open-air environment. If you run two 4ga wire to your amp, you have the ability to supply the amp with 280A of current (by multiplying 140 * 2). Do you need larger wire running to your amp? Only if you are having a voltage drop at your amp. The idea is to be able to supply the amp with 12V at its maximum current. If you run too small a wire to the amp, as you crank up the volume the ampacity of the wire will be maxed out and your 12V turns into something like 11,10,9... volts and your amp no longer amplifies your tunes.
- Q: How to choose the type of street lamp cable specifications, anxious
- Depends on your number is not arranged in order, the general building room when the patch panel and the user board number is one to one correspondence
- Q: I have a usb hub that is externally powered that stays on 24/7 even when i shut my computer off. It is buried behind by desk so removing the usb power supply manually each time is what im trying to avoid. Is there anyway i can put a switch in the power cable going to it?
- Before you attempt this, make sure you have the following items: -Wire strippers -Electrical tape -Two terminal switch -Scissors IMPORTANT! make sure that the cable is unplugged from the computer and the hub before you do this! 1st, cut the cord halfway with the scissors. Next, remove the outer wire insulation from the two new ends you just cut with the wire strippers. Now strip the small colored wires that are now exposed. Then connect the red wire from one half of the cord to a terminal on the switch. Do the same with the other red wire from the other half of the cord and connect it to the other terminal on the switch. Strip the other small wires and connect them back to their appropriate colored wire. Finally, wrap each wire individually with electrical tape, then wrap the entire gap in the cord with it. Now plug the cord in and try it out!
