Q: Any help regarding my question would be greatly appreciated.I have a 1991 Prevost Marathon Mirage LE Luxury Motorcoach and I am wanting to remove the Engine (Detroit 8v92) is this a job to hard for a reasonably experienced Diesel mechanic to conquer? I have all the space in the world in my game room to do this. Just wanting to know if the engine is on a slide track and it slides out (I have seen other coaches do this) or do i have to totally unmount the engine to get it out to where I can work on it? Firstly Remove The Battery Store It Safe Location.Disconnect The ,Diesel lines,Wirings,Cables,- Sesors, Modules, Then Disconnect,Gear BellHousing,Torque Coverter If There,Engine Mountigs, All Water Lines,A/c Connections,Front Grill,If You Need The Bonnet Also, Put The Rope Put Cross Bar- Tie Properly Care The Mudguards,Pull The Engine With Sufficiant Manpower Or Crane Nor Lifter. Check Once More before Takeout The Engine Assy-Wheel Blocks,Support To The Gear Box,Door Lock, Safe The Key,Nobody Not Allowed Inside The Car, Before Pullout Check Again And Make Sure Nomore- COnnections Arrange The Table Keep Everythings Ready Pullout Keep On The Table Check Externals. Make More Dismantling The Engie Take To Machine Shop They Knows What Nee for Your Engine. If Over machine Work Bring To Spot Selct New Parts What You Need Do Accordingly.

Q: Hi everybody. well I buyed a welding machine, and I need a portable generator for use the welding machine, but I dont know the generator capacity to use it, if the welding machine is 50 to 250 amps, but I just use from 100 to 200 amps, Can I use a 6000 watss Generator? or I need more power?: Look on the welder spec plate it should be rated in amps. it needs to run watts amps, X volts from a old timer

Q: I would like to try a browns gas generator on a 3 cylinder Diesel engine to compare efficiency and save money and not add a turbo to the unit. I just wanted to know if anyone had any experience in this. I am also considering a natural gas flow to the intake.: It would work about as well as it works on a petrol engine. Not at all. Forget it.

Q: I recently purchased a CAT turbo diesel generator. I checked the oil and it had water in it. After a good bit of clear water came out the oil started to drain. It could best be described as the color and consistency of a vanilla milk shake. I was told by a friend to mix some diesel with the oil and agitate it to mix it up, then to drain the oil. After the system was clear, i put fresh oil in until it reached the fill line. I started up the engine and let it run for about two hours. It was smoking white from the exhaust stack. I have also noticed that there is oil dripping from the exhaust stack. There also seems to be oil leaking from the turbo. Could this oil leak be causing the white smoke? I remained curious so i grabbed an infrared thermometer and started checking around. The exhaust manifold around the number 1 cylinder was about 100 degrees cooler than the other 3 cylinders. What the heck is going on? help would be much appreciated!: i think you might have a cracked block in this one ,that's one of the faults to those,the blocks was thin,and if not maintained right they would freeze up,the reading you got on the one cylinder may be the cylinder the problem is in also,i bought one of these at a salvage sale,and never did get it to run right,sold it to a friend,and when he tore it down it had a crack in the head and the block,you need to check yours out real good,you may have more problems than its worth,those are expensive to work on also,parts are very high,so be careful,and don't get in too deep on it,good luck with it.
