Product Description

A diesel generator is the combination of a diesel engine with an electric generator (often an alternator) to generate electrical energy. This is a specific case of engine-generator. A diesel compression-ignition engine often is designed to run on fuel oil, but some types are adapted for other liquid fuels or natural gas.

Diesel generating sets are used in places without connection to a power grid, or as emergency power-supply if the grid fails, as well as for more complex applications such as peak-lopping, grid support and export to the power grid.

FAQ:

Q1: What is Prime Power and Standby Power Rating?

A1: Prime Power (PRP): Prime power is available for an unlimited number of annual hours in variable load application, in accordance with GB/T2820-97eqv ISO8528; A 10% overload capability is available for a period of 1 hour within a 12-hour period of operation. Standby Power Rating (ESP): The standby power rating is applicable for supplying emergency power for the duration of a utility power interruption. No overload, utility parallel or negotiated outage operation capability is available at this rating

Q2: How do we guarantee the quality of our products?

A2: We have established an advanced quality management system which conducts strict quality tests at every step, from raw materials to the final product.

Q3: How soon can we receive the product after purchase?

A3: Within three days of placing an order, we will begin production. The specific shipping date is dependent upon international and government factors, but is typically 30 to 40 workdays.

Q4: What is your after sales service?

A4: CNBM provides a full line of brand new and high quality products. Each and every unit is strictly factory tested. Warranty is according to our standard conditions: a, 15 months, counted on the day CNBM sold to the first buyer; b, One year after installation; c, 1000 running hours (accumulated); subject to the earlier one. Q:for a diesel generator of about 113 HP. What is the typical exhaust temperature?
i ve worked on a 440kw engine as a general rule the exhaust temperatures are never let to go in excess of 400 degrees. normal exhaust temperature at 300 kw was 350 deg celsius.
Q:If electric vehicles included a generator they could charge the battery while moving. It seems the best choice to me.
Generators take energy to run. Thus putting a drain on the batteries.
Q:I'm estimating 81 mpg at best, and 47 mpg at worst.
A friend is getting well over 100MPG. But his journey is just about optimum for the car. Plugs in at both ends.
Q:i am BSEE student, my project study is to synchronize the generator of an hospital, it have a one 313KVA standby-power diesel gen.,and three 100kva transformer. The generator system is operated manually and no ATS or UPS. one more new building is being build so the transformer will be upgrade to a higher vale.1)what is the new gen. to be buy?(rating, etc.)2)how i can connect the new gen. to the old gen.?3)what is the controller so when the new gen. attains its full load the old gen. will start. These is my title: To synchronize the generator system of the ____ Hospital.Anyone have a good title? Thanks.
The only thing I can think of is watch the second Thomas Edison Bio film and pay careful attention to when he is working on lighting up the city using his electric light bulb. He had to synchronize two generators at that point. I'm sure you can find the answer there.
Q:I need a generator that will power alot of stuff, preferably cheap as possible, or any other power source of that kind.it will need to power about 5 normal appliances and a 600w bulbany ideas
Cheap as possible - go Chinese if you want to use it once a year and don't care if it goes paf at any time. Honda makes some good units if you want quality and back up. You need to add up the power draw of your five normal applications and your 600w lighting load. Add 25% and the unit will be adequate. If your appliances have induction motors you will have to have at least three times the rated power of the motor(s) to get them to start safely. If you need more than 3000 watts of constant power you should consider diesel, for longevity go for slow speed i.e.1500 or 1800 rpm engine speed. Price will range from $400 for a 2500w Chinese thingy up to at least $14,000 for a fully enclosed automatic 12KvA super silenced slow speed diesel unit on a slide. Running costs get high with the bigger petrol units. Inverters are good, but you will still have to generate power some how for the batteries - wind, water, solar, generator etc. Will be more expensive to set up but will be better long term for a cabin or similar. I'll tack on a couple of links below. Good luck.
Q:For a new observatory in the Andes at 17,000 feet, we need to provide power continuously for 4 months. Requirement is 208VAC, 3 phase, 10 kW. The site is accessible by large truck, but connecting to the power grid is out of the question. We are thinking diesel generators and large fuel tanks. Any suggestions out there? Thanks.
Well, okorder
Q:I have a bunch of old diesel left over from y2k, a family friend stored 10k gallons and its turned a brown color, it dosent small funny at least to me, still looks red if you put it up to the light but it is not vivid red like it used to be it has a dingy brown color. It was originally RED diesel.Im afraid to run this in my generator, is there any additive I can add to clean it up or fix it that you have PERSONAL experience with.?
look in the yellow pages and discuss with a local petroleum distributor. diesel tanks grow all sorts of mossy things. a last suggestion is to have a sample laboratory analyzed for water and other growing organics and particulates.
Q:Also would i be safe 20 miles away from the power station if any things happened. I am talking about the power station Dungeness B in Kent England. also if anything were to happen how long would i have to get out of the radius of the station.
CMEs can induce current in long-distance power transmission lines. That can knock out enough transformers to shut down the grid. Power plants are not affected.
Q:I know that when a coil is moved between magnets, it produces electricity. how does a generator work without magnets ?one more thing I want to know, what makes the generator turn on when the light go out ?
Generators all use magnets of one form or another either permanent magnets, or electromagnets.
Q:how exactly to fossil fuel power plants work?
Depends on the type of power plant. There are some, like coal and furnace-type natural gas plants, that burn fossil fuels in a furnace or combustor. The burning of the fuel heat water flowing through a boiler, evaporator, or steam generator to produce steam. This steam is directed to a steam turbine which turns a generator and sends power to the grid. Fossil fuels can also be used in a gas turbine (basically a jet engine mounted stationary) to directly turn a generator and send power to the grid. This is known as simple cycle. The waste exhaust from the gas turbine can be sent through a heat recovery steam generator to produce steam. This steam is directed to a steam turbine which turns a generator and sends power to the grid. This would be a combined-cycle operation. Fossil fuels can be used to run a diesel generator.
