Product Description
A diesel generator is the combination of a diesel engine with an electric generator (often an alternator) to generate electrical energy. This is a specific case of engine-generator. A diesel compression-ignition engine often is designed to run on fuel oil, but some types are adapted for other liquid fuels or natural gas.
Diesel generating sets are used in places without connection to a power grid, or as emergency power-supply if the grid fails, as well as for more complex applications such as peak-lopping, grid support and export to the power grid.

FAQ:
Q1: What is Prime Power and Standby Power Rating?
A1: Prime Power (PRP): Prime power is available for an unlimited number of annual hours in variable load application, in accordance with GB/T2820-97(eqv ISO8528); A 10% overload capability is available for a period of 1 hour within a 12-hour period of operation. Standby Power Rating (ESP): The standby power rating is applicable for supplying emergency power for the duration of a utility power interruption. No overload, utility parallel or negotiated outage operation capability is available at this rating
Q2: How do we guarantee the quality of our products?
A2: We have established an advanced quality management system which conducts strict quality tests at every step, from raw materials to the final product.
Q3: How soon can we receive the product after purchase?
A3: Within three days of placing an order, we will begin production. The specific shipping date is dependent upon international and government factors, but is typically 30 to 40 workdays.
Q4: What is your after sales service?
A4: CNBM provides a full line of brand new and high quality products. Each and every unit is strictly factory tested. Warranty is according to our standard conditions: a, 15 months, counted on the day CNBM sold to the first buyer; b, One year after installation; c, 1000 running hours (accumulated); subject to the earlier one. Service and parts are available from CNBM or distributors in your location.
- Q: A new facility is having a problem with getting power supply, is it safe to run the entire facility (including AC/Ref systems) using a diesel generator? is the power quality guaranteed (considering good quality generator) since that suppliers of AC/Ref systems claimed that this facility would lose the warranty in case of using a generator. Thanks in advance.
- What is an AC/Ref system ? Please define unusual abbreviations. Power quality depends on the specifications of the generator. But I doubt they would be as good as that supplied by the power company. Bottom line, if the suppliers of this equipment say you will lose your warranty, then you will, unless you resort to a lawsuit. .
- Q: I know that they could re-surface to re-establish a normal supply of air but what about when they were under attack and couldnt surface for long periods of time, wouldnt those engines use up a lot of the oxygen inside the sub?
- Water is H2O they use and used a process where they take the water and filter out the hydrogen leaving them with oxygen and they just pump out the hydrogen into the ocean
- Q: Are they cranked by a self starter? Is there such an immensely powerful self starter that runs off batteries and can start such a big engine?Or are they started by some gasoline powered motor?
- A diesel engine is started (like an automobile) by turning over the crankshaft until the cylinders fire or begin combustion. The starting can be done electrically or pneumatically. Pneumatic starting was used for some engines. Compressed air was pumped into the cylinders of the engine until it gained sufficient speed to allow ignition, then fuel was applied to fire the engine. The compressed air was supplied by a smallauxiliary engine or by high pressure air cylinders carried by the locomotive. Electric starting is now standard. It works the same way as for an automobile, with batteries providing the power to turn a starter motor which turns over the main engine. In older locomotives fitted with DC generators instead of AC alternators, the generator was used as a starter motor by applying battery power to it.
- Q: I can't find any article that will say either. I'm assuming not nuclear.
- The original Soviet version was nuclear powered, but the Russians took that equipment out before they sold it to the Chinese. There are numerous diesel powered boilers, generators, and turbogenerators installed.
- Q: I have never had any interest in cars until recently when diesel engines have started to feel like important and valuable power sources moving forward.
- They've always been popular in Europe as they have ridiculous fuel taxation. And diesels have traditionally gotten better fuel economy. But these days with direct injected turbo gas engines becoming more prevalent the diesel's fuel economy edge is diminishing. Case in point, the BMW 335i and the BMW 335d. The gas engine gets almost the same mileage as the diesel as you can see here fueleconomy /feg/Find.do?a same deal with the MB 350 as you can see here fueleconomy /feg/Find.do?a Diesels are still quite important for cargo transportation, industrial use, and agriculture, as they have always been. But no offense, but if you're just now finding out about diesel cars, then you've missed the boat by a few decades, diesel cars have been around for a long time.
- Q: A friend and I have been tossing around ideas about the future of the human race, and are coming more and more to the conclusion that we're all going to hell in a handbasket.Virtually ALL religious writings make reference to pockets of humans living past Armageddon even though civilization itself is pretty much gone. Humans will continue on the level we were on several hundred years ago, in small farming communities, doing most work by hand. The problem is to survive long enough to establish such communities.MRE's and other long-life foods are fine, but pretty expensive. If you're talking about feeding hundreds or thousands of people for several years, we have to get back to something like dried beans and rice. The government does it. How?What is the best way to store grains and beans? Metal drums rust. Plastic drums are succesptible to rodents. Are silo's necessary? If so, what is the LONGEST rice and beans will last? Years? A decade? What do you think?
- KRAFT DINNER!!!! ravioli mr noodles pasta stuff you could even get a bunch of spaghetti noodles and spaghetti sauce (no meat though)
- Q: i need to do a project and i need a website that has info on why solar panels are more enviromentally friendly can you please give me some websites?
- www agua-luna com
- Q: Difference between diesel generator and gas turbine generator set
- the performance of gas generator set is good, the success rate is high
- Q: I have been given a cheap diesel generator made from china. It starts alright, but seems to be reving very high and poping and spitting until it has ran for a while. It surges some times as well. I don't really like it much and haven't used it to power anything other then to load test it a bit. I have checked the motor and all it has is a simple governor on it with no adjustments? I am not sure even where to start adjusting anything on this. Any body have one of these and same problem? Please I was given it, I would like to get a little service out of it , not just junk it Fuel, oil, air filter are all new.so? help?
- So what did you want to do with this engine? It sounds like a stationary engine used to power a generator or pump or similar application at a constant RPM.
- Q: I understand that it powers your stuff. But how does it get power? How long can it run before losing it's power? Please no physics, just a simple answer. Thanks!
- A portable generator has a motor, gas, diesel, whatever fuel. This is used to turn either a DC generator or Ac alternator. If an alternator the electricity is converted to Dc by rectifiers. Then an inverter converts the DC to Ac at the correct frequency. It runs as long as there is fuel
