- Q: How to convert kVA (kilo-volt Ampere) to kg/h (kilogram per hour) for diesel generator set (genset)? I want to know the relation about the energy produced (kVA) to the fuel that used (kg/h) in the genset, either it used more diesel fuel or not. i.e the kVA amount produced is 106kVA and the rpm is 1500rpm
- You cannot convert KVA to kg/hr. KVA is a unit for power (rated capacity) and kg/hr is the unit for mass flow rate. There is no direct relation between them.

- Q: Hi, i have a peugeot diesel conected to an 8kw alternator via a lay shaft engine 2275rpm alt 1500rpm at 2250rpm engine produces max torque 70lb ft, alt should only need 33lb ft. under heavy load engine allmost stalls. I think i need avr control? Can you help with advice and componants? Many thanks Andre
- I'm not sure what an AVR is but you need some sort of governor to compensate for the increased load. it could be mechanical or electronic. depending on the engine configuration

- They may have put gas in it. Drain it all out and put in diesel. Get the off road stuff with the red dye and then you will be able to tell better next time. Also get a locking cap so that only you can get into the tank.

Mercury tends to concentrate as it moves up the food chain, until people who eat lots of fish become at risk for brain damage. Enough carbon dioxide in the water makes it more acid, which kills lots of things in the ocean and means less for people to eat. Lots of nitrogen (nitrates nitrites) may lead to overgrowth of plants, which then die and make a dead zone where not much of anything lives. Besides dead oceans not making any fish to eat, there is the possibility that a large part of the world will not be capturing carbon dioxide, which would increase global climate change (the greenhouse effect)
