Q: I am wondering if you can burn home heating oil in a diesel engine, I have a diesel generator and I am curious if I ran out of diesel say in a bad storm and couldn't get to a station for more could i but some home heating oil in it and run it with out messing things up?

Of course diesel-fueled engine generators can be used a backup, i.e. standby or emergency power. They can also be used as prime power (on all the time). If you need to supply a single phase load, either use a single phase generator (only available for small loads), or use a larger three-phase generator and make sure it has a Y-grounded connection. Even better, get an electrician or electrical engineer to choose the right device for your system.
Q: (sorry for my English) i don't know anything about electricity generation but i ask this with a curiosity ok. a factory open 8.00 am to 4.00 pm and using 80kWh der day or 10000 w electricity in a given time it generate electricity by a diesel generator.is it possible to use a small diesel generator to generate enough power to run a motor and connect that motor to large power generator to generate whole electricity need for factory so we can save diesel and money possible or not
A perpetual motion machine is one that makes more power than is used to run/rotate it. In your case you want a small engine to run a large generator. But the power of a large generator is only a portion of the energy going into it - there are losses due to friction, electromagnetic heating, and resistance losses in the wiring. There is, in fact, a rule of thermodynamics, that no process is loss free, much less producing extra power. Much more complex schemes than yours have been proposed (and cheated investors) since powered mechanical devices were invented. The best we can do is make devices more efficient to lose less power.

Q: For over a year, about once a month I start this Jeep and run it about 10 minutes. Zero problems until yesterday. It has fresh gasoline just added, cranks over fine, has spark (I have a spark tester) but will not 'pop' over. Upon closer inspection I see it has at least 6 Bosch type relays under the hood and know if one sticks something will not turn on. Any idea's where to start troubleshooting?(I am a retired US Navy diesel generator mechanic).
spray some ether in the intake and see if it fires, if so follow the fuel system until you find the issue. Make sure the fuel pump is running, and make sure you are getting fuel to the engine. A bad fuel pump relay or plugged fuel filter could cause this. Also check your air filter, in one case i saw a vehicle where someone had checked their oil then left the rag under the hood, well the engine creates a vacuum when its turning over and running, well it pulled the rag into the air box and plugged the filter.

First off, all trains are electric, the only reason there is a diesel engine is to run a huge generator that supplies electricity for locomotive. but in a straight electric, first you would notice it is quiet and smoke free, no diesel egnines running. Second it has to have a way of getting electrictity to the motors while on the move, the most common and effective way is with overhead wires, the track will have lines directly over the center, and th elocomotives will have a device mounted on top that pushes gently upwards against the wires to conduct the electricity down into the control compartment of the locomotive. Look for the overhead device on top of the locomotive, very easy to spot.

Voltage output of any generator (AC or DC) relies upon on the rpm and capability of the magnetic container. So various rpm and/or sterngth of magnetic container will variety the output voltage. be conscious that various rpm of the AC generator additionally changing the frequency of the generator output.
