- Q: where can i buy a power cable for my Lexmark P350 series photo printer?
- You can also contact Lexmark Technical Support at 1-800-LEXMARK to request for the Lexmark P350 photo printer power cord for free. Hope this helps.
- Q: Hi. I was snaking 40 feet of underground burial power cable thru a PVC conduit. As I did not have any cable pulling lubricant, I used JOY dishwashing liquid detergent as a lube for pulling the cable with a snake. Will that damage or detiorate the outer jacket of the cable it is still in the conduit. The flexible conduit I used is water tight and I have plugged both openings with silicine caulk.
- It'll be ok for about 5 years. The chemicals will eat through the outer casing which is more resilient than the inner insulation. Next time, go to Lowe's, Home Depot and purchase some Wire-pulling lubricant.
- Q: I want to turn on my PC but my power cable was missing so i got a new one. A small sheet on the PC's power cable input hole says quot;230 V Rated voltagebut the new power cable fork has some characteristics written on it like EL - 202 / 10-16 / 250 quot;. So I'm afraid that 250 stands for Voltage so the power cable voltage is different from pc's rated voltage. I live in europe and we have 220V here from the power supply. Can I use this power cable or will it mess up my pc ? It's quite a quick issue that I need help with. Many thanks to everyone who can reply quickly. Cheers ;)
- The cable seems to be rated higher than your input voltage so you should be okay.
- Q: ive recently opned my external harddrive case so that i could put dat harddrive in my pc ... i was able to take out the ide cable but i cnt take out the power cable... plz help me.. how can i take out the power cable?
- Thats nothing new..Molex connectors often stick do not try to pull it out by the wires! grab it by the sides of the connector and wiggle it back and forth (side to side) it will come out eventually!
- Q: I have a Scientific Atlanta Explorer 8000 DVR Digital Cable box and yesterday when I arrived home, it was not showing the time or any evidence of power. The TV and DVD player work just fine, but not the box. I unplugged it, tried a different plug but no power. I hear the box working, but it never shows any sign of powering on. This box is maybe a month old.Any thoughts?
- I have a Scientific 2200 and it won't power on either. I've tried everything. It happened 2x in the last week. The other time it came back on by itself after a little while. This time -nothing. Tech is coming tomorrow. Better be bringing a new box......
- Q: This is in terms of military property acocuntability.
- Like so many answers: it depends. A power cable for a desk top computer is usually expendable. A power cable running from a generator to a junction box is not. or property book will tell you what it is.
- Q: It never occurred to me that the power cable -- the one connected from the outlet to the laptop's AC brick -- is rated at quot;125V - 7Aquot;. Does that mean it won't be able to handle the 240V in some countries? The brick itself is rated 100V - 240V, so it can be used internationally. In fact, I spent a year in France, where I used my Dell Inspiron just fine (with a prong adapter so it'll fit into the socket). The reason why I'm paying attention to the power cable is because the cable for my Nikon D80 battery charger has a quot;USsticker on it. The charger itself can handle 240V, but does this mean the cable cannot?
- The thinner the cables are, the less voltage they can handle. So since cell phone charger cables are significantly smaller than laptop cables, the cell phone charger cables could heat up and actually melt the insulation.
- Q: Were can i buy a replacement power cable ?
- best buy. you won't get an original but you could get one with multi plug adapters that might fit your laptop's or you can try to browse the website of your laptops brand
- Q: I am using a Peavey Windsor half-stack that I've had for a little over a year now. It's 300 watts, 120 VAC (whatever that means), and 60 Hz. I lost the power-cable so I bought a new one, but I wanted to make sure there's no risk in using it. I'm pretty sure it's safe but I'd hate to overpower it if that's possible.
- It means that it has 300 watts of power . Thats a lot of power. 120VAC means that you connect it to a regular wall plug. If you can connect it to the amp and the wall socket , you got yourself an amp.
- Q: when i remove the cable it becomes lighter again. what can i do to fix this problem. the os is winXP
- check ur power settings hope this helps
