Q: i bought a car from some guy..he had 2 amps but he took out one...he had the power cable running from one amp to the other. i just recently bought another amp and i was wondering if its safe to do this.he said it was working fine..he was powering 2 10 subwoofers..thats what im planning to do
it is safe...but not the best method it really depends on the guage of the wire....best to have a single large gauge running to a distribution block then a wire for each amp comming out of the block to were the amps are. blocks are fairly cheap (usually less than 20 bucks) and safer...plus you get better power flow and 1 amp is not sucking all the power before it gets to the other
Q: Also why is it called quot;phantompower? Don't you think there should be a seperate category for technical questions about music!!?
Yes, you can use regular XLR cables for microphones that require phantom power. The only reason why some microphones require phantom power is because they require extra voltage flowing through the XLR cable. Condenser mics are the most commonly used mics that require phantom power, mainly because of the way the diaphram picks up sound (condenser mics pic up sound in a narrower area around the mic, yet can pick up distant sounds somewhat better). It earned the name phantom because it is invisible to other balanced (non-condensing, etc.) mics that don't need the extra power. A tech section would make it easier on most of us, because most of the important questions get lost in the typical whuz you're fav song or need lyrics plz questions that flood the section.
Q: I have bought a 1.5 ton window AC from Blue Star recently and used 2.5 sq mm cable to power it through a 16A DP MCB.Can the load be supported in this scenario?
I asked this same question 3 times, and didn't get a good answer
Q: What is the installation of the power cable protection grounding box and the direct grounding box?
You can shop on the ground floor of a layer of waterproof carpet (that is, the rural common 'kang seats'), the wire shop in the following, at the desk to stay a outlet hole, and the jack or electrical connection. Carpet can be bought in the hardware building materials store, as the traces of tape, you can go to the big supermarket to buy a special scrub, ask the salesman on the line. Wish you the best at work
Q: i cant drill a hole through the firewall because there's too much stuff in the way. so can i run the power cable to the power wire from the radio. the radio power wire is what im talking about. can i do that instead of running it to the battery? thanks
there should be a hole with a rubber disc like piece on the fire wall you just gotta feel around or there might be a hole some where on the firewall under neath of the brake booster or something you can stick a wire threw you can hook in to your radio with the power wire for your amp because the amp will blow your fuse everytime and maybe even fry your radio cause its such a thick gauge wire best of luck!
Q: will leaving the power cable in for my laptop hurt the battery?
Newer batteries cannot be overcharged but it is not advisable to leave the power cable plugged in when the battery is at a full charge. It will not hurt the battery but overtime your battery will not sustain a charge for as long as it should. My best advice would be to fully charge and let your battery drain to near completion and then recharge. Give your battery the exercise it was meant to have.
Q: Will that work, just get the new country's type of power cable? its a 4gb 360 slim
depends on what country you're going to
Q: Cable YJV-1KV-5 * 10 pipe laying, including cable head system with what fixed amount?
Do not recommend you use that, if the time is slightly longer, the battery has lost, and the performance is also reduced. You use the notebook, the battery on the inside, even if the charger has been stuck all right. The computer has a battery automatically charge the chip, say the lithium battery no memory effect, but very lazy. If it has been in the active state will be very lively. Storage capacity will always be maintained, on the contrary, the loss of vitality, your battery is a little bit lost, their own look,

Q: I have a be quiet! dark power pro 850W. The sleeving is too thick for cable management!! It is a complete mess with the antec 900. its ridiculous as I bought it with cable management in my mind. Can I buy thinner cables on their own? Is there a standard modular fitting size?Thank you.
Cable thickness is there for a reason. The more current something uses, the thicker the cable. I'm sure you could probably replace the cable with any other cable, but a smaller cable will heat up more easily, especially if compressed in with many cables in a cable management system. You probably can, but should you??
