Q: my shirts say tumble dry low but my dryer only has tumble press. is it the same?
No, actually it isn't the same. Regular Perm Press it hotter that Perm Press low. I also have the same issue. What I do is, put them on for about 5-10 min on Perm press, then 15-20 min on air. The heat from the regular Perm press stays in the dryer but doesn't keep getting hotter, and the then the air cools it off. Sometimes I go back and forth between the two until it is dried.
Q: i dont usually wear foundation, but i do sometimes wear powder to soak up oils on my skin. my skin does get very oily on my t-zone but otherwise my skin isnt too oily. which would stay longer for everyday coverage? i just use them to keep the shinyness away... so pressed or loose?! i just wear them over concealer mostly. thx!Z
Neither. It doesn't matter; whether it's loose or pressed is completely irrelevant to its longevity, so what you should be more concerned about is the product itself, not its form. Get a powder that's known for its longevity, such as the MAC Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation.
Q: I'am struggling with my bench press lately. I use to do 150 now it went down to 135. Are there any other workouts to help increase my bench press back to 150 again?
Do you even lift?
Q: i'm 5ft8 and weights 185 and i am 17 male. when i was about 170~175 pound last time i remember doing 4~5 reps of 185 pound bench press. i regulary benched 6~8 reps of 135 pound. is it bad?and i haven't go to the gym for long time because i really don't have time to go there right now. how much weight do i need to bench at my weight? and i saw some skinny guy can bench more than me.. how can guy who is smaller than be can bench more?
Your bench press is above average for a 17 year old. Just do alot of chest, shoulder, and tricep workouts. You don't have to workout every day. Also eat plenty of protein and get adequate rest. Your bench press should increase in no time.
Q: So I've been getting acrylics done at a salon every 2-3 weeks for a little under a year now. Today I realized I probably spend about $400 a year on these nails ($25 every time I go) and I was wondering about getting pre-glued nails, like from a drug store to maybe save money. I get the acrylics done because I work in a resturant, and my real nails used to break or the polish would chip after one shift. So would press-on nails work as well as my salon acrylics? Or would they just fall right off? How long do they last? Can I keep putting new ones right back on, like I do with the acrylics? Is it bad (well, i guess worse) for my nails? Suggestions/tips?thank you :)
i would totally go for the press ons because acrylics are so bad for your nails once the are taken off or broken they leave your natural nail in horrible condition and acrylics hold so much bacteria under the nail. Press ons usually last up to a week or Two but you can always buy nail glue then just glue them back on. you also can change up the design when ever you want to. so my vote is totally for the press ons.
Q: without using a bench pressusing body weight exercises
the best way is too do push ups. It simulates the bench press with your body weight. If you can not do a push up normally, build up to them by putting your weight on your knees and doing the same motion. Also, dips help if you have 2 bars somewhat high off of the ground. They mainly build your tri's but they help with your chest also.
Q: I'm 6 Foot and weigh 189 Pounds, my max bench press is 215. How much should I be able to bench?
If you can bench more than your body weight, you are doing fine.
Q: I want a ten inch flour tortilla press without a non-stick surface because non stick surfaces impart chemicals into the food. All the ones I've seen do. Suggestions?
older presses are not non stick.
Q: I can military press 100lb dumbbells (one in each hand) with ease. I've worked really hard to get up to this point, but......100lbs dumbbells are the heaviest that my gym has, so I have to move on to the barbell. Since the dumbbells isolate both shoulders, I should technically be able to military press more with the barbell than I should with dumbbells, right? Does starting off at 205 or 215 sound like a good idea? I've only been lifting (seriously) for about 2 years, so I'm still somewhat of a noob. Thanks!
Yeah, you can probably do as much as 245 lbs even In my experience (and this is none scientific at all) but in my experience, when I use barbells instead of dumbells for exercises like that (bench press, overhead press, bent over rows) - the amount of weight I can add to each side is almost identical to the weight of the dumbbells. So by that logic, you could add 100lbs to each side of a barbell, making the weight 245lbs HOWEVER, the form is slightly different, so I would advice to start at an even 200 and focus on perfecting the form. be careful with the changes. Watch your chin (you have to move your neck out of the way) and watch your back - you have to squeeze your glutes so your lower back doesn't arch. Also watch the positioning of your hands on the barbell as its slightly different. A narrower grip will work your shoulders primarily, but hit your triceps quite hard. A wider grip will work your shoulders and your upper chest the most.
Q: i play football and my max on bench press is 190lbs
all these people can bench press but they dont know how and come on here and ask. it always sounds fishy to me. ADD Weight to the bar. it doesnt take a rocket scientist to figure this out. there's no secret formula unless you want to take roids if your asking, m guessing you've never done a real bench press with actual free weights. Heres the formula to figure out you're real number if you even have tried to bench press 190 x .40= 76 76lbs. Yep, thats what you actually bench if anything
