- Sounds like you have a problem. Call the store you ordered from and explain the situation right away, maybe they have a smaller simmilar sofa or will cancel the order as I'm sure they don't want delivery men spending a lot of time trying to push a sofa through a door and returning same to them.

- Q: The owner of the place we bought it from said he cleans his with Fantastic. but after the first few times of using it to clean mine, i realized its blue and is leaving a mark on the sofa. so i'm wondering what you use to clean your durapella and duraplush sofa's. for those of you who don't know what that is, its the sofa fabric that is stain resistant, and very easily cleaned.

- Q: i have one sofa and 2 love seats,they have been in the family for a long time ,and with money problems and debt , i thought i can do it yourself fix . the sofa is missing a leg in which i can get a new one from any store ,but wanted to know is there an easy way to fix like example the hands of the sofa have lost the cushion under it and some of the sofa seat things have rips in the fabric ,i tried sewing them but they still re-rip ,for i have toddlers at home ,has anyone done anything of the kind and is it more expensive then sending it somewhere or just buying a new one , the wood seems fine and in good shape ,it is just the cushion part and outer cover ,i thought of getting the slip covers but with the kids it wont stay in place at all so i want to fix the cushion and replace the cover
- Sorry, the sofas are way past their use. It is better to replace the sofas. The time and effort to repair the sofas are probably more costly than replacing the sofas.

- Q: I want to get a really beautiful sofa bed for my living room. I have scoured the internet and all the sofa beds I have seen are really, really ugly.I have a beautiful couch already, and it would be great if I could just get it converted to a sofa bed.so my question is, does anyone know of any furniture repair people who will do this? how much do you think it will cost?any recommendations will be helpful.(please don't post links to already made sofa beds)
- It would be theoretically possible to convert your sofa to a sofa bed, but probably not practical. If you take the sofa cushions off, you will find a set of coils underneath them, covered with fabric. To make a sofa bed, those coils would all have to be removed and the sofa frame would have to be completely empty. Then you would have to purchase a sleeper sofa mechanism. It would have to fit exactly into the empty space. You would then need to purchase a sofa bed mattress to place on top. The whole thing would cost hundreds of dollars and be of questionable stability. There is an inflatable product that would fit on top of your sofa and convert it to a bed, if that is what you are looking for. You can find them online. Although inflatable items tend to deflate when you least expect it...... Unfortunately I think you are better off just looking for a new sofa bed/sleeper sofa. Good luck!
- Q: I have a friend that is becoming a Contractor at a base in Japan. He asked me if he could become a permanent resident of Japan. In case anyone doesn't know what SOFA status means it is the Status of Forces Agreement (SOFA). I'm am wondering if there is anyone on this forum that has done it before? I have read in previous answers that you must live at Japanese addresses for five years. I'm not sure working for the US Goverment would count. I don't think he is going to marry a Japanese national as well. Can anyone that has done this chime in please? Thanks
- If you want to apply for PR, you need to stay in Japan for more than 5 years under WORKING VISA. But if you are in US military, you will stay in Japan under SOFA status as others say. So you will not be eligible to apply for PR.

- Hi there... consider trimming her nails every 10 days which will blunt the ends which discourages the destruction to furnishings. Some cats prefer different types of textures over one another as well as scratching horizontally or vertically. As for the biting, it's important to abruptly let out a piercing ouch and then gently remove her and walk away. Cats dislike being ignored, therefore when she isn't biting be sure to shower her with affection. Eventually over time she will soon realize that she garners no attention when she bites.
