Q: Life span is 5 years on this bright white carpet. They lived here 2 years before us, and didnt replace the carpets before we moved in, and we lived here for 2 years.. If you are putting over concrete (like we did) it is best to seal the concrete floor with Kilz first. This will stop moisture (water) and odor from coming through, also stop things like pet accidents from soaking into the concrete. Hope this helps.
