- Used them many times and they are very reasonably priced. If you aren't moving your furniture (which we didn't) make sure they put everything up on blocks so as not to stain the carpets until they dry. It's a normal procedure for them but they can mess up and your wood or fabric that touches the wet carpet will stain it. When they are done your carpets should only be damp and not wet to the touch. If they are wet don't let them leave until the carpets are only damp. Stanley Steemer is a franchise operation so not all franchises are great. I use them for a whole house cleaning but use my own steam cleaner much more often. I have saved a lot of money by owning my own steam cleaning machine which is a Bissell. I can keep up on carpet cleaning routinely as opposed to waiting until the carpets are in dire need. I would recommend after you use Stanley to buy your own cleaner.

- Sounds like a really old or really poor quality carpet. Even the cheaper carpets should last a long time if there is no traffic. I suppose it is possible to find a carpet material that is so bad that it will begin to rot away after only a few years, but normal landlords don't buy that kind. - If you have ever seen them clean an oriental rug you would say nothing would be worth the cost. Here is what they do and you can do it yourself. Lay the rug on the driveway. Take a scrub brush on a pole and using rug cleaner scrub it. Then rinse it off with a garden hose and hang it over a railing to dry.

If they are not in your area ask them for a lead for your area if they know one. If all else fails use the phone book. smaller areas don't use the internet.

- It depends on the size of the snake . They continue to grow so it really depends . I would say a 20 gallon long aquarium would be fine for most. You do not necessarily need a vertical cage . You do need a cage large enough so your snake can have hides/wooden boxes in different areas so he can have a warmer box closer to a light when he wants to warm up and a cooler hide/box in another area so he can regulate his temp. You can stack wooden boxes ( easily made ) with an entrance hole so that each one gets warm as it gets closer to your heat lamp. You could also put damp moss in one for a more humid hide . They are beautiful snakes a easy to care for . Just have accurate digital thermometers and one to measure your humidity level. I like to have one artificial branch for them to climb on.
