- So are you asking how to reupholster the back of a small chair? Cut a piece of fabric at least 6 bigger on all sides, get a piece of batting 1/2 smaller all around than the area being covered and a staple or glue gun. Put the batting on the area to be covered, cover it in the fabric and pull the fabric to the back, securing with staples and or glue. Standard upholstery. Other wise, make a pillow the right size and shape and then tie it in place. I would add more detail to the question, maybe a pic of the chair?
- Q: (I know this is a stupid question.)I've got these folding chairs. There are 2 rods that meet to form the back of the chair. When unfolded, these 2 rods rest on these 2 plastic parts that are screwed by hand into 2 hollow tubes. The hollow tubes are the top of the chair's back legs.Through regular use, a person leans back in the chair. This action gently sands down the screw-like section of the plastic parts as it rubs against the hollow tube. Eventually, the screw-section is gone, the plastic part stops working and the chair is no longer safe for use.Where can I buy these plastic parts? Do these things have names?
- They are very hard to find! I have three, but there is no way I'm getting rid of them! You might find some at yard sales.

- Two things: first, yes, stress is bad for unborn babies. It's hormones and heart rate, remember, and those chemicals travel up the umbilical cord. Second: if you're shouting at your 4-year-old all the time, that tactic probably isn't working. At 4, he's old enough to have a conversation about why he's misbehaving. Maybe he's worried about you or his place in the family with another baby on the way. Find a way to have some alone time with him (with 2 other kids in the house and another on the way, that won't be easy, but even if you sit in the car for a moment, or on the porch with no interruptions, that will be fine, just give him some undivided, undistracted attention). When he knows you're interested in listening to him, he'll probably be honest about what's going on in his head. You'll help him feel better, and that will help you feel better.
