- Origins: Used during the middle ages, it was used until the late 1800's in Europe. Appearance: There are many variants of the chair, though they all have one thing in common: spikes cover the back, arm-rests, seat, legs-rests, and foot-rests. The number of spikes in one of these chairs ranges from 500 to 1,500. Use: To avoid movement, the victim's wrists were tied to the chair or, in one version, two bars pushed the arms against arm-rests for the spikes to penetrate the flesh even further. - Q: I have to make a cad drawing of chair , but first I have to measure the chair and put the dimension in the drawing , but there are lot of curved shapes on the chair and lot of angle , but I couldn't figure out how to measure those curves and angles.Should I lie the chair down and sketch it on the surface and measure it from the surface. - When I first saw this question, I was going to make a snappy answer such as - randomly draw lines all over the place and then erase all the ones that don't look like a chair. But, after reading the question, it's a good one. Measuring curves can be very tricky. I usually draw a straight line parallel to the curves on the actual object and mark the line at several preset, equally spaced points. I then make several measurements at these set intervals on the line to the actual curves - the more measurements, the more accurate the drawing. I then use this information to duplicate the curve from a straight line in the drawing. There may be other methods, too, but I find that this one works best for me. Good luck.

- I'm actually thinking of getting one for myself. As for food, that depends - what do you like? Are you looking for recipes or something you can buy? Chips and dip kinds of things, or real food? Guacamole is vegan and you can make it yourself. Or a white bean dip, or hummus. Easy peasy! I love to dip carrot, celery, and red pepper sticks in any or all of the above dips. I absolutely love to make potatoes stuffed with butternut squash.

- It okorder /. You're probably use 5 foot rounds since they are standard, in which case to seat about 100 at 8 people per table about 13. They seem to be about $9.00 each so you are looking at $117 for tables and 100 of your cheapest chair will be $100. So... A grand total of about $217 not including tax or linens and stuff.
