- Q: Office Chairs: I am looking good chair that is comfortable to sit in, will not hurt my back, easy to roll across my desk area. I have sat in the Herman Miller chair and really like them..don't think my boss will go for the $800+ price tag on it though. My desk is kind of low so my arm rest right now kind of get in the way. - I don't think you really need a high chair until she is starting solids which is not for at least another couple of months. However, there are booster type high chairs that strap to a chair and have a tray and everything just like a high chair. They're less expensive, take up less space, and are very portable. Some brands are designed for newborns and recline for that reason. I found mine at toys r us. The brand is Graco, I believe.

- Q: I have a padded computer chair which the seat part has now been flattened (due to much use) and is no longer comfortable. - You may be able to reupholster it yourself depending on the chair and whether you can take it apart. The seat was put together in pieces so there should be some way to take it apart. Unless you are handy this might be a challenge and depending on how your chair is constructed this could end up being a problem. Reupholstering might be half your purchase price but I'd check with a local upholsterer. There are seat cushions that you can purchasing in stores like Target, if you go to the section where they have tablecloths/napkins/linens. They are premade and designed to work on wood chairs and are about 1-2 thick. You could also go to the outdoor furniture section and look for seat cushions - those would be a lot thicker, designed for outdoor furniture. A less refined option would be getting some foam from a fabric store and cut it to size to fit the chair, then cover it with fabric.
- Q: Hi, i had a chair a long time ago that was the shape of a shallow bowl and was made of wicker and roughly 5 ft in diameter. I have found similar chairs called saucer chairs but none of them with an independent base or made of wicker. Also it had an independent cushion/pillow that sat in the wicker frame.I found one once and it had a strange name, anybody know what im talking about?

- Q: I understand wrestling is staged, but sometimes the wrestler doesn't block it and they get hit hard. I hear they slow it down somehow before they hit their opponent or something...This is the kinda thing I'm talking about.
- Most of the time, wrestlers are hit with the seat portion (the @$$ end) of the chair as opposed to the back support of the chair. Two decent wrestlers can pull it off easily without being stiff. Other times, the hands and forearms are used for the block but they fall and act injured anyways to sell the chairshot.
- Q: How do I go about dying the white cotton chair covers from Ikea upholstered chair collection? I would like to dye them a neutral color such as tan or brown and wouldn't be able to use a washing machine. If not advisable to do this at home where can I get it done and about how much would it cost (ballpark)?
- The only way to do it at home is using the stove top method described on most of the packaging of dyes. But to do a chair cover you will need a huge container in order to get the dye to saturate them and not have areas that remain white where there are wrinkles in the fabric. Most laundry mats in my area specifically have rules against using their machines to dye fabrics. But, there are a few dry cleaners in my area that will do it for you, but it is expensive. I had them dye a throw a while back and I remember it cost around $80.
