- Q: Do you know of any device or method to keep a button pressed? I'm talking about real life - physical - buttons of electronic appliances, not buttons of software applications (since these are the only results I find in Google).
- Sounds like the switch behind the drive button is bad. Not worth taking in. Any repair cost, if they could make such a repair, would probably be more than a new CD in the first place. If you're adventurous and/or have a little technical skill, you could buy a replacement CD drive and put it in yourself. They're not altogether very hard to install. Hope that helps.
- Q: I feel like my nails are different from other peoples there wider and my fingers are shortish and I bite my nails a lot so I want to try press on nails but will they fit my nails?
- It all depends on the size of your hands and fingers.Maybe buy the regular kind and a petite one and see which one fits best. If one doesn't fit you can always return them. ( Ask if they are returnable first otherwise you might have wasted a couple bucks!) If both fit you, keep them for next time! Hope I helped! :)

- yes it will. but you will still need to put it in between some heavy books. Step1FLOWER PREP.- For best results make sure you pick your flowers at their freshest and press when there is no moisture on them. The colors are better when you take this extra step. When preparing the flower for pressing give it some thought as to how it will look when flattened. Avoid allowing parts to overlap. Step2 PRESSING YOUR FLOWERS- There are a couple of different ways to press flowers, that I know of. Pressing Flowers in Books - Place flower between 2 sheets of paper (coffee filters work well also) to protect the pages of the book. Best to place flower in the center of a thick book. Weigh the book down and wait a couple of weeks. Flower Presses - You can buy a flower press or make your own out of a couple of wooden squares. To make a simple wooden press: Cut 2 wooden boards, about 1' width and 1' length. (You can also get these pre cut at a lumber store.) Hold them together with a long bolt and wing nut in each corner. Cut pieces of cardboard to fit between the boards, glue them to the inside of the block pieces. Allow this to dry thoroughly before putting in a flower. Place the flower in the center of the two blocks and tighten the wing nuts. Again, this will take a couple of weeks. Step3 After a couple of weeks has gone by. Open your book or flower press and carefully peel out the flower. You can now frame your flower or whatever you have in mind. Be creative.

- A garlic press minces the garlic cloves for you. That way you will not have to mince it yourself and get it all over your hands. I say if you use a lot of garlic then a garlic press is a must have. It makes life so much easier.

- Q: I really like to work my legs but I really want to know which I should work them on. The gym has a squat machine and a leg press machine. I do a lot more leg press because I can't do a lot of weight on the squat. So this is what I was thinking. Do reps on the squat, like 3 sets of ten with 200 lbs. And then do more of the heavier work on the leg press. Really I'm not sure what to do but I'd like to incorporate both machines in my workout. Can anyone help?
- Leg press is a great exercise, however the squats don't only work the leg. They also work the core. Right now your plan looks fine, but consider that the squat is a more compound exercise and will work several muscles.
- Q: Does anyone know of a small press that accepts poetry manuscripts and fiction semi-based on a real life experience? What does everyone think of self-publishing? What does that cost the author (ball park figure)? Does Amazon and places like that get to sell your book? How would an author self-publishing get the book to be sold at a Barnes and Noble store? - both, depending on what u get, MAC cosmetics has some good powders, the studio fix powder + foundation is a pressed powder and foundation in one. the Mineralized skinfinish natural is a powder that goes over foundation. so depends on how much coverage u want or need, pressed powder can be used as both.
