Conductor: Soft annealed stranded copper wires to BS6360, class 2, concentrically stranded in successive layers, in opposite direction, to form the stranded conductor. Aluminum also available

Insulation:The conductor are insulated with a layer of extruded XLPE/PVC compound.

Filling:The assembled cable is filled with a layer of PVC compound in order to fill the interstices between the cores and render the cable round.

Armoring: Consists of single layer of Steel Tape/Galvanized steel wires of appropriate size.

Sheathing: An outer protection of extruded PVC compound is applied over the armor.

Voltage rating: 0.6/1kV,3.6/6kV;6/10KV;8.7/15KV;12/20KV;18/20KV;19/33KV;21/35KV;26/35KV

Operating temperature:

90 continuous normal operation, 130 for emergency overload condition and 250 for short circuit condition

Application:

For outdoor and indoor installations in damp and wet locations, laid direct in the ground where excessive mechanical stresses are present in sloping and moving terrains and in vertical or inclined laying, as well as in locations susceptible to sliding.

Q: I need a replacement tip/end for my laptop power cable- specifically, the small cylindrical metal-and-black-plastic bit that plugs into my laptop. Q: My 4 gauge power cable is hooked up to the battery's positive terminal and the other end to my amplifier's terminal. Is it safe to accidentally touch the ring terminal (end) of this power cable? I won't feel any electrical shock or anything will I?: Anything below 30 amps DC will not hurt ya. However,.. you CAN get shocked by DC voltage. -its when you get up around 75 amps that will feel hot like a fire heated wire. At around 150 amps it still won't shock you like AC current but will make you pee on yourself.

How do I find it?: The direct power cable runs from the battery to an access point usually on the drivers side fender well. There is also sometimes a shielded stud on the firewall near the center of the truck. Failing to find either of these, a connection to the battery positive terminal will work just as well

Q: I am buying a graphics card with a 6-pin power cable connection, but i have no six pin power connections, so i need a converter that converts two molex (four pin) plugs into the 6-pin plug that i need. After im done playing i noticed that the power cable is warm and you could move the two positive and negative prongs very easily as if they were about to come out of the cable. Q: I recently bought a 750watt power inverter and there are two small cables to connect to it that look like small jumper cables. Can i connect my regular (longer/bigger) jumper cables to the car battery and connect the other end to the inverter cables??Ive been told that this will blow the inverter, and i've been told otherwise. Please let me know if you've had any experience doing this.Thanks,: That's fine for a temporary use situation. However, if you are going to be using this regularly in the same vehicle, I would recommend a more permanent installation using 4 ga power wire directly to the positive terminal of the battery. Make sure you install a fuse on that wire as close to the battery as possible. If the jumper cables are cheap and thin, or the contacts are coroded or not making good contact, this can cause the voltage to drop to your inverter and cause it to draw more current and possibly fry the power supply.
