Cable properties and use instructions:

--For unarmored cable, is suitable for laying in indoors, cable channel and conduit etc., such cables can’t bear strong mechanical force.

--For STA armored cable, is suitable for underground installation , which can withstand certain mechanical pressure, but can’t withstand mechanical tension,on the contrary, for SWA armored cable, is suitable for vertical installation, which can withstand certain mechanical tension, but can’t withstand mechanical pressure.

--For PVC sheath not only has excellent chemical corrosion resistance, but also has the properties of flame retardant and non water-absorption.

-- For single-core armored cables, non-magnetic material or Aluminum tape is main armored material, which only applies to D.C system

Q: Are they the same because apple gives yuo the cable but you can buy the power adapter
the power adapter is so you can charge it off of a regular outlet rather than having to have a computer handy to charge it through the usb port. i recommend getting the power adapter, i have it and its good
Q: my laptop keeep on saying installing lite on camera crystal eye and it and put implug power cable and i dontt no what one is so what is a power cable pleasssse help ?
A power cable is an assembly of two or more electrical conductors, usually held together with an overall sheath. The assembly is used for transmission of electrical power. Power cables may be installed as permanent wiring within buildings, buried in the ground, run overhead, or exposed.
Q: I just bought a new motherboard and it had a 24 pin power thingy, my power supply was only a 20 pin. After looking at my manual it said I was able to do that if I aligned them a specific way. After that PC turns on, the lights turn on, hard drives turn on, and everything else. the thing is the screen stays black and says no signal.I was looking on the motherboard and there is a 4 pin ATX12V1, but there is no such cable that comes out of my power supply. I think the reason the screen stays blank is because it said that was used to power the CPU. What can I do since I do not have a ATX12V1 cable that connects to my motherboard? The only cables that come out of my pwr supply are for the IDE and floppy.
You need a new power supply. Make sure it's 24 pin and has enough wattage and amperage on the +12v rail to power your system.
Q: It's a mains electrical cable, like a kettle or computer, 3 pin but with a little groove under the 2 pins. Please help.
If you are in the UK, it is 13amp insulated, power cable with live, neutral and earth wires.
Q: Ok, i know it is definitely a NO-NO to run my power cable through walls, but, what if I run the power cord through only to pull it out behind my entertainment center from the wall-plate my other cables come out, and plug in a surge protector?
That is against fire code, and could void your home-owner's insurance. An electrician can move your outlet for you for about $70.
Q: I would like to buy a replacement. What AC/DC adaptor should I buy? Should I buy the exact same model (FSP150-AAA)? I assume any AC/DC adaptor that has the same spec is ok but I am not sure what is the key for the spec. Any advice would be appreciated.
There appear to be various manufacturers of FSP150-AAA power supplies. You must have a substantial laptop or whatever that is powering. Most laptops have 65 to 90 watt PSU, my gaming laptop is 120 watt, and FSP150-AAA is 150 watt. Or is that an all-in-one PC where the computer is built into a screen? The one you link to is one of the ones I found in a web search.
Q: NO power convertor needed? I can go straight from AT to ATX?
You are confused between AT and ATX. As described by pdl756 the power connections are different and two plugs. Another big difference was the AC went from the PSU to the Start switch on the P.C case and back to the PSU for switch on. AXT started with a 20 pin power plug and later to a 24 pin power plug. Your link shows that converter from 20 to 24 pin but it was not needed for long because PSU manufacturers provided a 20 plug plus a 4 pin clamp on extension
Q: I've got everything connected to my motherboard, but cant start up my computer until i get these small cables connected to my motherboard. I just want to start up my computer. I've got the cpu in, the cpu fan, ram, speaker, hard drive, floppy etc.. How do i fit the cables in the question above, in the right order so my computer will start. I believe they go into the USB and PANEL on my motherboard.thank you
Not enough info. But from what you wrote, the only one you need to connect to get the mainboard started is the Power SW. All others are indicator or I/O. The Power Switch cable is not polarized but the LEDs are. LEDs need the +/- in the right direction. Be very careful on the USB connections or you could burn up a USB device. They are critical. You should have a manual if the mainboard is new. If it's used, look around on the surface of the board for a manufacture and model number. Then type it into google and see if you can find an on-line manual.
Q: what does it mean by 4 core cable, 35 mm. can it be used for DC and AC as well. can it be used for a 3 phase AC. what are its advantages and disadvantages? is one core means one phase? can we use 2 core cable for 3 phase AC? am really confused please explain.
A 4 core cable has 4 conductors in an overall sheath. The 35 mm indicates the area of each conductor's copper is 35 square mm. You can use the 4 core cable for 3-phase power (3 wires with a spare or ground). You cant use a 2-core cable for three phase service, unless you are using three 2-core cables with the 2 wires connected in parallel to provide one of the phases. It can be used for AC or DC. TexMav
Q: I just plugged a 300V power cable into power supply that accepts 115-240V then turned on the power supply. The power supply was not connected to the motherboard. I don't have another cable so I can't really check if its still working nor do I want to try again with the 300V cord if it can potentially cause damage.
