Q: i want something like this but i think the price is a little high, so where can i find something like this but cheaper?
Well, I think the price is OK, you may just want to save up for it, but I'll still try to help: This style of chair is called a papasan chair, I know that Pier One sells them but they're more expensive than the PBTeen model. Probably the only way to get a papasan chair cheaply is to get a used/second hand one. If you want to get one used, you could try Craigslist for your area. I don't know how old you are, so if you are young *ASK PERMISSION FROM YOUR PARENTS* to look at Craigslist online (there can be bad people online there), and if you ever buy anything online through Craigslist *MAKE SURE* someone goes with you if you go to pick it up. If you get a Pier One or used chair, you could make a slipcover for the cushion (in a fabric like the Dottie chair), but in all honesty I would save your time and trouble and buy the PBTeen one. If you sign up for their emails they may send you a coupon, and/or let you know about sales!! Good luck!
Q: I fell in love with a dining set I saw on Macy's website but it's a bit out of my reach. It has four different colored parson chairs: beige, deep orange, burnt and moss with a round glass table. I have been searching online to find these colors but I can't. It would be great if I could find these colors in parson chairs and then I could go look for a glass table anywhere else. Any advice would be appreciated.
Parson's chairs are easy to have recovered so buying a basic cream parson in your budget would be an easy way to get the chairs you want and then change the fabric. Many online catalogs such as Horchow, Frontgate, Grandinroad or Home Decorators also offer parson chair slip covers as well. They also offer parson's chairs with choices of fabrics that might fit into your budget. Pottery Barn does this too. You may not find the exact colors you fell in love with at Macy's unless you recover yourself. But you can take a look and see what might work best for you. Macy's also offers a payment plan so if you really love the chairs, it's an option.
Q: Everyone else's chair is causing problems because it sags and goes down over time. My chair gets taller over time, and it's driving me nuts. It seems kind of sporadic; normally it increases by about an inch a day but sometimes it just goes all the way up without warning, within just a few minutes of being out of the chair. My office chair sees about as much use as my bed, maybe even more, so I try to keep it at a good ergonomic height. Having to constantly readjust the height of my chair is annoying, to say the least. What is causing this? Can I do anything to anchor my chair at the correct height? Please don't tell me to buy a new chair. I could have figured that out myself without anyone else's help.
My next door neighbour uses the lever and gets it back down for me. Every time I use the lever, it springs up. He tells me I am not heavy enough when I sit in it. Hahaha.
Q: I have to make a cad drawing of chair , but first I have to measure the chair and put the dimension in the drawing , but there are lot of curved shapes on the chair and lot of angle , but I couldn't figure out how to measure those curves and angles.Should I lie the chair down and sketch it on the surface and measure it from the surface. Thanks
When I first saw this question, I was going to make a snappy answer such as - randomly draw lines all over the place and then erase all the ones that don't look like a chair. But, after reading the question, it's a good one. Measuring curves can be very tricky. I usually draw a straight line parallel to the curves on the actual object and mark the line at several preset, equally spaced points. I then make several measurements at these set intervals on the line to the actual curves - the more measurements, the more accurate the drawing. I then use this information to duplicate the curve from a straight line in the drawing. There may be other methods, too, but I find that this one works best for me. Good luck.
Q: What do all chairs have in common that make a chair a chair?
You're kidding right....a seat...lol
Q: wahat is the most expensive commercial executive office task chair
Is a gold chair, designed by Hadi Teherani. it costs 50000  (or 40000?)! It's not bad at all. But if you want, there is the silver version, which is a little bit cheaper!
Q: I saw on the news this morning that the Majestic High Chairs were recalled. Well the one that I have is the Jungle Fun one. On the box right above where it says Jungle Fun it does say Majestic. Does anyone know if this would mean that it is a part of the recall? I went to the website about the recall and it didn't say. If it is a part of it, would I take it back to Babies R Us? I got it as a shower gift and I don't have a gift receipt or anything. It is still in the box, I know that the person who got it for me purchased it at Babies R US because it was marked off of my registry there. Thanks a bunch!!
You okorder
Q: i am considering getting one and am wondering if we can play my surround sound while using the game chair with a dvd player, tv, xbox. Or do we just have to listen to movies from the game chair speakers
Depending on the particular chair you get, and what you actually want to do, the answer is going to vary. Most gaming chairs I've seen at least support stereo audio via the red/white RCA cables. So what you could do is connect your devices to the surround sound system as normal, then run a pair of the red/white RCA cables from the Receiver's 2nd room outputs. I don't know if your receiver has this feature or not, but it would allow you to have the receiver playing audio through its speakers and your chair at the same time. Another option would be to connect the RCA audio cables directly to the device in question. You'll need a set of long cables for this, and maybe a male-male adapter plug (you can get these from Radio Shack.) Another way would be to get a cheap A/V switch (the type for composite video) and just plug your audio cables into that, then plug the chair into the switch. Most devices can output an audio signal on all their outputs at once so this shouldn't be a problem.
Q: I am looking for a computer chair that is best for comfort. My budget is no more than 60-65$ and I want a chair with arms. This is a Christmas gift. Thank you.
look at Amazon
Q: need a gaming chair but cant afford it but what can i use as a replacement thats comfortable
Beanbag chair @Chris I was thinking casual gaming not hardcore. You're right. A nice recliner is good.
