- Q: Our toddler is a very quick little guy and him accessing our desk is a large problem. The problem is our son being able to climb the desk chairs and possibly fall off of them. We have huge and heavy metal chairs but that doesn't stop him from pushing them out and climbing to pull the keys off my husbands laptop. Is there a special device that could keep a chair latched onto a desk when not in use?Moving computers and closing doors aren't options since we live in a studio apartment.
- I don't know exactly what your desk is like but can you put a couple hooks into the side and put a bungee cord around the back of the chair to lock it in place? My son learned real quick if he touched the laptop he got in trouble so he rarely reaches for it now. However we have a cheap office chair on roller wheels that he likes to get on and zoom around the house. The bungee cord does not work with this kind of chair/desk as he learned to tilt it and slide it out. Finally we gave up because the fun he has on the chair outweighs any punishment we gave him so we let him fall off the chair and hurt himself a couple times and he is a lot more careful now. Hasn't stopped him from playing on it but he is a lot more cautious! Sometimes it feels mean but it can be the best way to teach a child what not to do sometimes. Remember that kids are tough and a fall that might break one of our bones or knock us out is usually just a bump/bruise and a 10 minute crying fit. You'd be amazed at how soon a little one is all better with the mention of a lollipop or Popsicle! Good luck!!

- Q: Me my fiance are paying for our entire wedding ourselves so we are on a major budget. Our wedding reception is at a VTW hall, which mean those ugly brown folding chairs that i hate! - But just in case, take some steps. The lift I bought yesterday, I found the kitchen knife in the middle of the chair and the lifter bar, so it's much safer. I do not believe that in the big force can put the stainless steel kitchen knife to wear, pistol bullets are not necessarily worn.

- Q: I have a large office chair that's oversized and comfortable. Probably very expensive to replace outright. It's of the type that uses a gas cylinder/shock absorber design. That's failed, and I'm wondering if it can be replaced economically. If so, would it be a do-it-yourself project?. Thanks.
- They don't usually make repair parts for those because it's so rare that anybody wants to repair one. You would have to buy a new chair to get the base, but if you do that you might as well just use the new chair.
- Q: I'm looking for advice on buying a high chair. I have a 4 month old little boy who is just starting on different food's. He is able to hold his head well when hes sitting up, but still needs support for now. I want to find something that he will be able to grow into, and will not need to be replaced any time soon. - the fisher Price space saver highchair was the best bet for our home.. I don't have a large kitchen so this worked out great for our family of 4 (mommy, daddy, and 2 infants) They can deff. grow into this.. I have recommended it to many people and actually talked a random man at a local store into buying it for his grandchild

- I'd get a high chair. Those table chairs are nice, but once your child can move about good he can wriggle the chair off the table and fall. A high chair can be used as long as its needed, up to 2-3 years old if you like. The table chairs cannot.
