- Our idea of cushions may be a little different but, I don't think I would go to the expensive of changing the cushions. I would add some pillows and/or maybe a throw or afghan to the sofa. You could mingle the colors to match the rest of the room. On a brown sofa you could also change the pillows to reflect the season changes. Such as now with the holidays approaching you could use various red and maybe gold pillows that would accent the sofa and bring in your other holiday decorations. Maybe add a holiday patterned quilt across the back of the sofa. Make the changes fun and exciting. At the end of the season store the accessories for next year and move on to another seasonal change. This is an inexpensive way to give your room a quick pick me up and change in appearance. And you can change on a whim if you keep your eyes open and pick up accessories when they go on sale.

- Q: I cannot beleive my asking a question about sofa cushions but here I go. We have a perfectly fine sofa. However, we just tried to wash one of the sofa seat covers and the zipper broke. Now, we cannot fit the seat cover back on the foam cushion. It is an older sofa but it is decent shape. I do not want to reupholster the whole couch or replace the foam cushion. I just need to purchase one seat cover. I have no idea even where to begin. Does anyone know where I can purchase couch seat covers?
- If it's an older sofa, as you said, you'll never find a replacement. Other than a new sofa, re-upholstering or slipcovers are your only option. By the way, the zipper could be replaced.Just because cushions have zippers, they shouldn't be washed, as you found out.

- Q: I brought home a new microsuede sofa, and didn't even think about the static problem, until my 3-year old daughter sat down on it. - static guard will work just fine ,if you're worried about glops hold a paper towel under the actuator to catch them -spray the carpet below too -it actually happens from the plastic it comes wrapped in . Poor baby! spray that thing soon! good luck to you your sofa and mostly your little one.
