- I did extensive reading about this kind of behavior in cats before litter training my cat so that I would get it right the first time. I only have one cat but I read about others with more than one and had this problem. One person was on a cat forum for weeks trying to solve the same problem and it turned out that her cats each needed their own litter tray/box, and it needed to be cleaned almost after every use, or asap. The fact is that cats are extremely clean animals and they will sniff for where their own smell is and poop there, then cover it up. So the answer is: the cat the pooped on your sofa is the one that smelled the other cats' smell in the litter box and didn't want to go there, or who was fussy about his or her own litter box being full. Once you get it so that each cat is sure of his or her own litter box and are cleaning it up after each use or as soon as you get home from work, etc., you'll never have a problem again.

- Q: I really need to get to Japan and im hoping to get a nursing position there but it that falls through i was thinking about the exchange. If I work overseas as an AAFES employee in Japan will i get SOFA status? If i have SOFA I would be able to drive and so one without a VISA? is that correct? And where would i go if i got sick since i'm not a spouse or a dependent? Any past overseas DOD or AAFES employees have any good answers?
- Why do you NEED to get to Japan? Getting a job with AAFES from the US will be nearly impossible unless you are seeking an upper management position. Also, the SOFA we have with Japan heavily favors locals (Japanese) in the hiring for AAFES. Finally, the salary you get paid by AAFES for the other positions that may be available to you won't pay enough for you to live in Japan on. You would be better off trying to get a contract position (no guarantee of full SOFA benefits) or get a civil service job with a government agency. As for nursing, it is a very underpaid job in Japan...not the respect it gets in the US. In fact, there is a shortage and they have been importing Filipinos to fill the void and they pay them even less than they do Japanese. Nursing is not a good career path for a foreigner in Japan.

- Went Down? Pump Up? Is this an air filled piece of furniture? If this isn't a dream I'm having why not just get FOAM cushioning, very often sold in shapes matching cushion covers at at least 3 inches thick. Or get bags of fiberfill and stuff cushion covers. Hate Club members bring it on.
- Q: I'm trying to find new covers for this sofa but I don't know the make of it so it's proving very tough....It's creamy yellow, has buttoned up removable covers, the buttons run up the center of it's back and it has some on it's front at the base, it measures 92cm deep, 205cm wide and 75cm high. - I would venture to guess that it's a custom slipcover. If you don't see tags on the inside of it and it fits like a glove then my thinking is probably accurate. As for the sofa. Under the sofa should be information...Stamped to the wood or on a label as to the origin of the sofa...Have a look.

- I would say that adding a table behind your sofa is a pretty common practice. A lot of people do it to add flowers or other decor to your home. Just make sure you find one that matches your exciting tables and furniture or it will look out of place. Yea a sofa table is a good idea to create what you are looking for.

- Q: My wife and I purchased a velvet chenille sofa a while back, and have noticed that whenever any liquid (even just water) gets on the sofa, it leavs a spot. We tried cleaning one of these spots with the cleaner we were given, and it only made the spot bigger.Unfortunatley we seem to be on the losing side of a battle with the waranty company, so I think we're on our own to get the spots out. Can anyone offer any advice on getting rid of these spots. The makeup of the chenille is :48% Rayon, 28% Polyester, and 24% cotton if that helps.Thank you so much in advance.
- hey ,i would just say hot soapy water with some elbow greece ,then another damp cloth to rub it clean ,then a dry cloth it`s a lenghthy clean up ,but worth it ,i sometimes do one sofa bit a night over the space of a few nights then does not take too long ,i have the same type of sofa it`s a beige ,camel colour and would never buy this type again !!! I don't necessarily want an original from that era.. a modern duplicate is fine (I assume that will be cheaper than an original). - I've seen furniture of that type (I think they're called fainting couches) in mainstream furniture stores, where the customer can select upholstery fabric, like they can on any sofa or chair, and end up with a custom piece. Start with the most traditional furniture stores where you live. They may not have many, or even any, but a large one should. Skip discount places and department stores' furniture departments. We shopped for this sort of thing for our living room at one point, but in the end decided to go with more modern pieces, which we're still using. I remember we had our pick of four or five at that time, though, and this was in Texas, where you don't think you'll find a lot of Victorian-inspired furniture.
