- Q: There are differences b/t carpet pythons, so please don't answer unless you know your JUNGLES. How old do you think my new 12-inch JUNGLE carpet python is? I have received several answers-- she's a hatchling, she's 5 months old, she's 5 weeks old, etc. I was recently told that jungles hatch at 4-6 inches. Need a more definite answer! Thanks!
- I have been breeding jungle carpets for at least a few years, and they hatch at 16 inches in length. You may be measuring wrong, or you don't have a true jungle carpet. Jungle carpets are often crossed with other carpet pythons, such as coastal carpets and Irian Jaya carpets, as well as diamond pythons. Most jungle carpets hatch from March to August, and I'm sure yours hatched in that time frame. Nonetheless, it sounds awfully small for a jungle carpet and should be fed fuzzy mice every 7 days.

- 50-50....vinegar and water..add baking soda...spray all over the rug..let dry..vacuum and do again......but don't vacuum..sprinkle baking soda on it and let it sit a day..then vacuum WORKS GREAT ON ANY ODOR!!

- Deb is basically right but if your going carpet shopping , you need to know the s/f prices. Carpet hasn t been sold by the s/y for almost 10 years . If your doing it yourself, Then yes I d strongly suggest a 15 ft pc.. The average DIV hasnt the tools and skills to do seaming. You can get 15 ' goods at remnant places at time, or you can order it and it s the same price as 12' goods..per s/f. So if your doing 15 x 13.5 thats 202.5 s/f or 203 s/f You can get carpet (just carpet) for as low as 1$ a s/f and if you look at discount places that carry mill ends or discontinued carpet remnants sometimes cheaper. - Hi I would recommend using a wet vac and slowly pour hot water on the spot and vacuum it up at the same time (this will open up the dye ports on the carpet fibre releasing the stain. and remove the residue from the carpet). If the stain is still visible than use a little carpet spotter on it or Dawn dishwashing liquid (2 or 3 drops into one cup of water) and repeat step 1. The stain may come back in a few days so you may have to do this a few times. Please DO NOT put anything on the carpet that was not made for carpet. At this point if the stain is still there please call a carpet cleaner. What I have suggested will not lock the stain in. Carpet cleaner of 14 years
