Q: idk if yhe bearings will fit or is it like all lonboard bearings are universal and can fit in any longboard wheel. also can you show me some bearings that fit in theselinks WHEELS
all bearings are universally sized. any longboard bearings you get will fit the wheels fine
Q: Needle roller bearing model NK what does it mean?
Outer ring double block (or double lock ring) with cage, needle roller bearings NA, NKI, NA and NKI bearings without inner ring, that is, RNA, NK needle roller bearings
Q: What is the needle roller bearing model with outer diameter 21 and inner diameter 16?
The outer diameter of 21 needle bearings with 16, the market is not available. The outer diameter of 21 needle roller bearings through 15, some models are hk1512.
Q: ok. i got a new pack of bones reds and new wheels. i dont know how to put the bearings in properly though. if I push them in all the way to where the axel goes throgh the wheel there is a good 3mm gap between the bearing and the edge of the wheel, which i'm assuming would make it difficult to get the bearings off. should the bearings go in like that or should they only go to the edge of the wheels? thanks
Put lube around the sides then put it in the side of the wheel. To put it in all the way just use the axle of the truck to push it in.
Q: Both the same size rimes both bmx. But one rims bearing don't work good anymore. How can i put in new ones?
If it's a front wheel, just unscrew the cones and put in the new bearings.
Q: For my college engineering design project my team is basically designing a mousetrap car that has to travel a minimum distance of 3 meters and the dimensions are 20cm X 10cm X 10cm. The car will rely on its coasting phase to travel the majority of this distance so the reduction of friction between the axle and body needs to be at a minimum. I was thinking of using ball bearings for high quality rc cars but the only problem I face is how to keep them in the body which is basically a sheet of aluminum with two 1 cm edges bent 90 degrees downward with an 8 cm hole drilled through each side for the axles (od of bearings is 8 cm). I was thinking of using epoxy to keep them in but id like to hear other opinions.

Q: And can u also tell me how to clean abec 9 bearings? and grease them?
The preferences are based on what works for you. For cleaning the bearings, I use lamp oil (desented kerosene) because it cleans out anything. I then wash it out with denatured alcohol which also dries the bearings. If you use a water based cleaner like citrus cleaners, do not soak them overnight since it can damage the bearings. Almost anything works for lubricants. Super light things like the sprays don't last very long. Some people spray them every time they go out. Oils roll quickly right away but are not as waterproof as greases or last very long. Greases are slower at the start but will last a lot longer. Use very little. A drop or two of oil or a few pin head sized blobs of grease.
Q: what types of bearings are used and what are their application?i need some good information as im finding it hard to do some research!thanks in advance!
External bearings are usually long life types and may be sealed or not, usually tapered roller bearings designed for angled loads. Internal bearings can be of several types used in different places. In some cases, bushings, rather than bearings, are used in part or for the whole thing. It all depends on the manufacturer.
Q: So, we have a map and we have to draw a cruises route on the map.The place where I started from to the line I drew is 15 degrees east from true north on a compass. The magnetic variation is 11 degrees east. Does that mean the compass bearing is 4 degrees east from north?I'm probably totally wrong. What's the true bearing? I'm confused :(
True North is 15% off magnetic North. I'm not sure how your assignment is supposed to be worked but as an ex Navigational guy in the USN I can tell you we always put North at 000 the bearing on a location 15% east of there would be 015% South=180, East=090, West=270. that's how professionals do it we just don't worry about magnetic North. All our bearings are calibrated to true North
Q: I bought a bike from a guy it's a 79 with a broken chain and he said he would have to do a conversion because he couldn't find the original chain. Well after that I went to ride it home and the rear wheel started wobbling back and forth, the bearings had gone out but the guy said he rode it for like 30 miles that morning to test out the new chain. I'm about to put new bearings on it but I was wondering if it's a possibility that the new chain threw the bearings off, etc. it's a 32 year old bike and everything that went wrong with it was origianl with only 17k miles
Always give year, make, engine size and model # when asking questions. We need all of that info to give an informed answer. Japanese bikes of that era used 3 bearings in the rear wheel. 2 bearings in the wheel hub and one bearing in the sprocket's flange, with a spacer between the sprocket flange and the wheel hub. If that spacer was not installed, that could cause the bearings to prematurely fail. Unless the chain was adjusted improperly (to tight) it's unlikely the bearings would ware out from installing a new chain. Before removing the rear wheel, check the chain slack to see if the previous owner installed the chain properly.
