- Q: i have a 2003 suzuki ozark 250, and the front wheel bearings are shot. I have the bearings, but before i start, i would like to have an idea of what im doing. - is almost the same, the only diff is how the wheel is opened up,,, i believe they seal the bearings so you will haft to press them out i think,, if not then then its the same,,, ive only came across 2 types of 4wheelers that had to do that,, they were polarius models that floated on the water,,, now lookin at yours its the same as a car,,, after removing the wheel you take off the spindle ( for a car its called a rotor) then pick out the bearing clean out the grease add new grease, and pack the bearings with grease befor you put it in,, the more grease the better lol
- Q: Wipeout/laid down my bike 2000 miles ago. Yesterday, I checked my crank, a little lose so I tightened it up. Awhile later a kind of light click clunk sound/feel when the right crank is a the 3 o'clock position. Even before every once in awhile down stairs there's a noise at no real position that sounds like my crank hitting the kick stand, but I have no kickstand. Is it the bearings or race going bad. - rear bearings in the engine or the differential. the two are very different but either one would be a project. the engine, you would have to pull the engine out or pull the oil pan off and deal with it that way. pull all of the main bearing caps and replace them. the rear end is a bit more complex as you have to pull the axles out, pull the carrier and start from there.
