The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- Q: what are moter bearings and how hard are they to put into a gas engine?
- Rinse it a couple times with fresh gas , dump those out and fill with fresh gas , shouldn't be a problem.
- Q: Is it possible to replace some from the oil pan? Please dont say i need a new engine etc. im only concerned about the bearings.

- Q: what is the advantage and disadvantage of water-lubricated bearings?
- The main advantage of a water cooled bearing is you can use the a portion of the water from the pump discharge to lube the bearings. That way you can always be assured of the lubricating fluid supply and do not have to relay on another pump. Some pumps do use another source, especially if the water being pumped is dirty, but it is still cheap and non-contaminating if some leaks into the pumped fluid. However, water is not always a good lube especially on pumps with high speeds and/or mechanical loads. Water is not very viscous and becomes less so with increased temperature. Even small 3600 rpm pumps will use oil for lubrication. Some large, high pressure pumps will have their own oil pumping and cooling system for the bearings.
- Q: I've been searching my textbook and cannot find the types of bearings that are in a manual transmission. I need to know what types are in this type of transmission and when they are active (not being used). I know there's the pocket (pilot) bearing, but there are more. Can someone please help me figure this out? It's much appreciated. Thanks.

- Q: Sup guys, first new thread. Anyways,i have a 2004 Honda 400ex. I noticed the other day that when i get on it and rock from side to side (stationary with engine off) the axle stays still but the rest of the quad moves and clicks sort of. It moves up and down, but not very much from side to side. Probably 1/16 side to side. And about 1/4 to 1/2 up and down. I tried tightening the jam nut or whatever its called (the left hand thread. I dont know as tht i tightened it right). But that did nothing. My rotor also moves front and. Back. I was told i need carrier bearings. I hope not because its wednesday and i have. Planned riding trip this weekend. If it is bearings, can i just tighten the nut and ride, then replace it?
- it sounds like carrier bearings. keep your chain adjusted slightly tighter than usual. you can run it some with it that way. stay out of the mud! if you're going for a looong trail ride, you should replace them. also know that if you let them go too long it gets real expensive when you eat into that carrier housing!!! i've ridden many miles on bad bearings, you just have to watch them close and run a bit easier than normal. if at all possible change them before your ride, other wise go easy, have fun!!

- Draw yourself a picture of what is going on. Bearings are normally the angles from true North. Draw A with NSEW cross hatched Draw B with NSEW cross hatched. Then extend line from A to B and put in the 87 degree angle from N. Then add up the angles ---- 3 + 90 + 87 = 180 degrees from B to A. So B is 87 degrees E of N of A and A is 3 degrees S of W of B.
- Q: rollerblades btwi got water on them and then they were total slow, ive done the white spirit to get rid of all the grease and lubed them with 3in1 oil, will they be fast againsbtw, any1 who says wd40 im gonna report you because that completely ***** your wheels.cheers
- Probably not. Water tends to ruin bearings. Once rust starts, it can='t be stopped without damaging the bearings. Get new ones. Try Bones Reds. 2 boxes for recreational skates, one for aggressive.
- Q: I soaked them in alchohol overnight and then dried them out for 30 minutes and i blew on them and stuff. then i applied 3 drops of lubricant to each bearing with bones speed cream. i also removed the bearing spacers. they seem slower, maybe by 20 seconds when i spin them. i havent skated them yet since i cleaned them. possibly i should put back the spacers? i have bones spf wheels with bones super swiss 6 bearings.
- yes when you clean out your bearings they slow down a bit at first, they shouldn't take long to break in once you start skating, although it might seem like your going slower because your bearings will be silent compared to before
- Q: So i just bought some sector 9 ABEC 7 bearings. Is it ok if i buy the speed cream lubricant, take the bearings appart, and apply the lub without cleaning them? They are Like less then a week old (the bearings).
- First off, they are a downhill bearing, if your street or vert skating i recumbent independent 7's. Second, speed cream is only really necessary when your bearings start to wear down and start to slow and make that horrible noise. if you put it in straight away it won't do much but collect dirt. so just wait a while.
- Q: I have Mission 500 Helium skates and i tried taking off the bearing shield to clean them ....but they are almost impossible to take off...i was wondering if they can come off...or im i just working my *** off for nothing
- Not all do. Some are called non-serviceable. However, although it takes work to remove them and you cannot put them back, the non-servicable shields can be removed. You take out one and reassemble the bearings with the open side to the inside of the wheel. The non-serviceable shields have small radial slits around the outside edge. To remove them, you need to punch a hole into them without dammaging the cage around the balls inside and pry it out. If you have a metal removable shield, there is a very small C clip on the outside. You should be able to feel the gap in it by tracing around the outside with a pin. Then use the pin to pick at the end of the C clip to remove it. Many of the C clips have the ends cut at an angle. One end will be much easier to pick out with the pin than the other. So if one end doesn't seem to help, try the other.
