The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.

- ABEC rating doesn't mean anything to skateboards. Take your board and drop it from chest height to the ground, now your bearings are rated far less than ABEC1. Just make sure they're clean and lubed and there'll be no difference in speed between $2 no-name bearings and $50 ceramics. Grab some VXB bearings. They're cheap and good. Instead of paying $45 for ABEC 9s, spend $45 and get 100 bearings (12 sets + 4 extra bearings), or spend $25 and get some with built-in spacers (makes sliding a lot smoother, unless you're using precision spacers in your normal bearings). As for wheels (which have a much larger effect on speed than bearings btw), 80a Retro ZigZags are some of the best all-around wheels. Very fast, grippy and smooth rolling. Other wheels to check out are 69mm/70mm 80a/82a Sector 9 Race Formulas, 80a or 83a Orangatang 4Prez, and Earthwing Road Rages or Smokers.

- It all really depends on the application. But usually there is only one set of thrust bearings, and they are usually formed as part of the center main bearings. Sometimes they may be on the outer two mains, but they are almost always part of the main bearings.

- ?!?!?! NO! Finger acetone cannot be used to clean bearings. You can clean bearings with a few things, I can only remember WD-40 at this point of time. Remember to completely dry the bearings before adding the correct lubricant and re-capping them.
- Q: Back in the day(about 10 years ago) I had ceramic wheel, crank, water pump, countershaft, mainshaft and steering stem bearings. I was trying to find ceramic bearings for my son's KTM 50 and can't find anyone that sells them. I am trying to cut down on weight on his little bike. I am also trying to find a titanium shock spring for that little bike.Any help would be much appreciated. I have been trying Google for the past couple of days. - Don't know how much help this would be to you as I have a crf250r and have ceramic bearings in it but being in Australia mine came from a company called Black Mamba Racing. They are worth the cost and it is a mod that most will not admit to but all the pros run them in their bikes. Finding them for a ktm 50 could be an issue though as most would not think to put them in therefore there may not be much of a market for it. So perhaps look for a company like Black Mamba that produce racing components in your country.
