Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.

Application Area:

Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

Q: A friend of mine had his Nissan repaired recently. He had the timing chain and water pump replaced. A week later, the car dies. He returns to the shop that fixed it. They say his ball bearings are pretty much gone and that he needs a new engine. When he asked what could have caused this, they say that somewhere along the line a previous shop put the wrong trans fluid in his car and that that is the cause of this whole thing. Is this possible?
LMAO
Q: I have been told that the lower the rating the better and vice versa. I've finally had the brilliant idea to ask the question on the almost all knowing internet. Your advice would be appreciated and considered. thanks!
ABEC ratings are irrelevant to skateboarding. A higher number indicates better tolerance in the bearings. It does not take into consideration overall quality of the bearing, nor the ability to take side loading, which is common in skating. The rating is only useful for applications where the bearing spins in excess of 20,000 RPM. If you look, high-end bearings do not indicate ABEC ratings. It is just a marketing tactic.
Q: i wannn know to see if its a good idea to try :)
Yes...by washing away the very grease that lubricates and protects them...So does gasoline make bearings run faster?..Yes....Makes them wear out much faster also!
Q: The serpentine belt in my car came off somehow and I found it in the driveway (this was a few days after it had been replaced) and my dad told me to drive my car to the automotive place without it and if it overheated just to pull over, let it cool, and then keep going. it did overheat and I pulled over, but called AAA and had them tow me, now the guy fixing my car told me my alternator bearings have failed, and that it wasn't like that when he did the belt before. Was this from the drive there? or from something else?
The alternator bearings might be the reason the belt came off in the first place. Or it is a coincidence. Either way, you didn't cause the bearing to go bad, and neither did your mechanic. It just is.
Q: I have a 96 ford ranger with manual lockouts ive seen people say u need whole assembly for 2000 and up but when I look for it I can find any that will fit mine
The 96' has regular taper bearings but it matters when getting the bearing you have to specify if your Ranger has the Dana35 or the Dana28 axle. NOTE: The 00' Ranger does have the Hub assembly style bearings.
Q: can i install crankshaft bearings without taking the crank out if so? how?
No,the bearings need to come out so you can first clean the crank journal and second measure the dia.of the journal on the crank and the block to see if you have any wear and what size bearing to go back together with, either standard or an oversize bearing.
Q: does anybody know what the best liquid to use for cleaning bearings?
I don't really know but i use rubbing alcohol. I would have alcohol in a cup and put my bearings in then with my top hand cover the top and shake a little. Then take em out and roll em until they feel like they're new again(sorry for bad english im mexican)
Q: well i was thinking about how FKD has all the good skaters for them like Lutzka, Ortiz, and P-Rod. So are they any good
Ehh, okorder /
Q: How much speed can the needle bearing of inner bore 17mm bear?
There are many kinds of needle roller bearings, which do you think?
Q: I bought a bike from a guy it's a 79 with a broken chain and he said he would have to do a conversion because he couldn't find the original chain. Well after that I went to ride it home and the rear wheel started wobbling back and forth, the bearings had gone out but the guy said he rode it for like 30 miles that morning to test out the new chain. I'm about to put new bearings on it but I was wondering if it's a possibility that the new chain threw the bearings off, etc. it's a 32 year old bike and everything that went wrong with it was origianl with only 17k miles
Get yourself a manual if you don't have one and pull it apart yourself. No conversion was necessary, chains are widely available. A new chain will not trash bearings. They may have been on the way out - but not likely at 17k unless it was stored in a swamp. Pull, clean and grease the swingarm bearings, too. That grease in there is now hard as a rock and not lubing anything. You should also change the front wheel bearings when you do the rears and at least clean and re-pack the neck bearings.
