Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :
The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall. The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.
The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be used in accordance with application condition.
The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.
Application Area:
Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

- Q:i have a small amount of play in both of the front wheel bearings and i just want to know if i can go without buying all new wheel bearings.
- Those are sealed you will need to replace them
- Q:i want to grease my bearings but i have no idea how to take them out... and i do want to break them or ruin them...how do i do it???
- There are many ways to look at this particular question. To actually get the entire bearing out of the wheel stick a screwdriver into the round hole of the bearing. Then just pop it out. To actually grease the ball bearings within the bearing, you have to pop off the back shield. I only know that you can do this with Bones Reds. They have a special back that sits in the bearing. Pull this off and you'll have access to the balls in the bearing. If you don't have Bones Reds don't try to take the back off, cause it might break the bearing. After pulling off the back, you can put lube in the balls and then spin the bearing in your fingers to spread the lube. To put the back, back on you need to properly separate the bearings. Then place the back on and replace your bearings into the wheel. Before greasing the bearing, wipe off the bearing with a paper towel, clean the bearings as well before greasing by shaking them in nail polish remover .
- Q:I already have the parts how much would a shop charge for labor to do 2 front wheel bearings
- May I ask why are YOU not calling auto shops in your city and asking yourself? These types of auto services are not universally priced in all 50 states. And car names are proper names and must be capitalized. Grand Prix GTP is correct. I would like to meet the person who started this grammar anomaly of not capitalizing names and have a person to person chat about this subject. mike who answered you has this defect down pat. He wrote with 100% incorrect grammar. The next grammar error is punctuation. ALL sentences must end with a proper punctuation mark. Please do so. Otherwise, the world shall end as we know it. mike has no usable sentences and his writing is beyond chaotic and disorganized. He makes up words as well. I wonder it he ever went to school. Do not be like mike.
- Q:So i have a longboard and the bearing it came with died on me. Changing my bearings for the first time, i had no idea what i was doing until i look to youtube. I did as they said but something fell out. It was my speed ring. So i changed themas i was told and i put the ring back on before the bolt. I dont know what i did but now it spins very fast but slows down IMMENSLY within 10 seconds of a spin test and stops abruptly. What happened? (note: i skated in the rain... Stupid me)
- Spin tests are useless, they give no indication of the bearing's performance under load. Bearings take a while to break in, especially Bones. Might take a few good days of riding. There should be a speed ring on either side of the wheel. Some Trucks do have a built in protrusion that does the same as a speed rind, so only the outer one is needed. Make sure you didn't tighten the axle nuts too much. There should be a little play in the wheels. Also, make sure your bearings are seated properly. Ditch the spacers as they often cause problems. If you skated in the rain with the new bearings, clean and re-lube them. . They might be salvageable, otherwise plan on buying another set of bearings.
- Q:I had just laid out 650.00 for a complete brake job at Sears for my step son's car about 3 months ago, and now his right wheel bearing is shot. I would think given the close relationship to the braking assembly to the wheel bearings, this shouldn't have been missed. Am I not understanding something here or does Sears owe me at least 1/2 off my wheel bearing job? I have just learned as well that Ford Focus also had a recall on wheel bearings for certain models. That should have been a red flag there for them if they are any type of a reputable repair service nation wide. Help me please.... I cannot afford any more repairs, but I cannot afford to have him use our cars either.
- Back in the day a brake job would have included repacking the wheel bearings, but not today. A brake job on a ford focus does not require removing the hub. the hub of many of today's cars contain the bearings and can not be rebuilt or repacked, you replace the whole hub. if the bearing is replaceable it is a seal bearing and can not be repacked or inspected. There was no reason for Sears to inspect the bearings ( for $650 they should have gold plated your butt ). In the case of the focus it has a sealed bearing, it costs around $40 or you can buy a new hub for around $60. if you have basic tools you can replace the hub in about 60-90 mins.
- Q:my car recently (2 weeks ago started making a knocking noise like a chatter and i hear it coming from the engine. my mechanic said my main bearings are failing. he says the engine will last a couple years if i use a heavier weight oil. 2 years seems long. is that right?
- You can't guarantee anything when main bearings start to go bad. I bought main bearings for one of my cars and put off installing them for two weeks and the engine seized up solid. A truck had bad main bearings so I added Lucas Engine Treatment to see if it would last longer. (I had a spare engine to put in it) Well the engine was still running three years later. I would try the Lucas stuff for motor oil and price out the work with your mechanic. If you get them done soon you can avoid damage to the crankshaft.
- Q:I have noticed that my ride is very noisy. I thought about replacing them but they come as the whole assembly. Please help!
- You have hub bearings that need to be replaced, once they start to make noise the damage is done and its time to replace them. If your tires are cupped they will sometimes sound like bad bearings.
- Q:My bike has a hub for a shimano freewheel with 7 gears. One of the dust covers in the hub is bended inwards and the cone goes through it. As a result the bearings come out. I was told by a bike's mechanic these dust covers are very hard to find and they are mostly manufactured for the specific wheel. Is that true? Do I have to change a full hub just because of this little dust cover? I did a quick search and found some for Shimano hubs but have not found one that looks like mine.
- If the cones are properly adjusted, you could remove the dustcaps and the bearings would not fall out. Any hub made for freewheels will fit any brand of freewheel, your hubs are not made specifically for Shimano freewheels. The bike mechanic is correct, the dustcaps are specific to the brand and model of hub you have, but if bearings are falling out, there is a lot more wrong with your hubs that the dustcaps. The hubs have to be completely disassembled and inspected to see what is wrong. If the hubs are too damaged to rebuild, new wheels will cost less than changing a hub. If the hub is damaged, the rest of the wheel will also probably be in poor condition
- Q:i have a double TT maintenance spray and im not sure if it is ok for lubricating my skateboard bearings.. http://www bearings .uk/tt-spray-400ml-pr-16366.html go at this link this have the picture of the spray im saying...is this spray good for bearings THANKS.
- it may be good for internal bearings it sounds like it's exatally like wd-40 which isn't a good spray for bearings only because it leaves a residue behind that'll collect more dust and dirt and do more harm. You're best to get the silicone sprays like that bearing factory one, I know it costs more but it's a lot better and a can that big would last almost a liftime because it doesn't take much to lube a skateboard bearing, or even 8 of them.
- Q:How can I measure to see what size main and rod bearings I need, I know to use plasti guage but from there how do I decide
- That depends on if they are direct fit bearings on your motor. Then there are punch marks somewhere that tell you what size bearing was used.
