Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

The draw up needle roller bearing has two structures-with retainer and with full of needles. They are are divided intoopenend type and close-end type. The structure with retainer has the single seal ring and double seal ring .The structure with full of needles has a large load carrying capacity.

Application Area:

Needle roller bearings are mainly used in car engines, transmissions, compressors, cranes, etc.

Q: trying to figure out what type of bearing could be used in a pulley system with dynamic loads exceeding 1150 lb and 540 lb.
Ball bearings manufacturers give detailed procedure on how to calculate and arrive to the proper selection. I advise to contact them and obtain their catalogues.
Q: I had just laid out 650.00 for a complete brake job at Sears for my step son's car about 3 months ago, and now his right wheel bearing is shot. I would think given the close relationship to the braking assembly to the wheel bearings, this shouldn't have been missed. Am I not understanding something here or does Sears owe me at least 1/2 off my wheel bearing job? I have just learned as well that Ford Focus also had a recall on wheel bearings for certain models. That should have been a red flag there for them if they are any type of a reputable repair service nation wide. Help me please.... I cannot afford any more repairs, but I cannot afford to have him use our cars either.
no! you paid for brakes(way too much by the way). not bearing inspection or anything else. yes there close to each other, but you have to have a reason to inspect something, they(sears) are not going to do ANYthing beyond what you paid for. especially a shop like that where they have 20 yr olds working there, who know almost nothing except to get each job in n out as fast as possible. you might have had better results from a REAL mom pop repair shop where they care a little more. basically the same response for the recall question. a good repair shop MAY have known about recalls, but not sears or pep boys where they dont care if you ever come back or not. you just got a lesson about finding good repair shopps sticking with them for life. oh and by the way... next time time buy a toyota.
Q: i had my car serviced and it had new rear brake drums fitted, 2 days later i hear a rubbering sound comming from the offside rear wheel, took back to garage and they told me the bearings was all shoot and that the car was to dangerous to drive home, could this be true, would they off noticed this then servicing the car, what could of happened
On the 2002-2003 Ford focus, the wheel bearings are actually sealed from the factory into the brake drum. There is a defect in these bearings that causes it to go out quickly. My father is replacing his sixth brake drum on this car today. That's six brake drums replaced in a year on one car because of this bearing problem.
Q: what are the odds of 07yukon front wheel bearing going at 87k milesi hear a minor humming that i do not believe is the tires, based on the soundit is a 4 wheel drive model, not AWD
Chris, It is going to depend on how you drive your vehicle and where you are driving. If you think you are having issues with your wheel bearings, then I encourage you to visit your local dealership and have them checked out. Thank you, Elizabeth, GM Customer Service
Q: I am just putting in new wheel bearings on a utility trailer. I have packed them well with wheel bearing grease, installed new seals and installed it all on the hub. How tight should I put the star nut on? It seems as if one opening for the cotter pin is loose and the next one is quite tight.
That star nut your talking about can be removed from the nut...And is adjustable to fit in the right location. Hand tight While spinning the tire works best for your bearings...
Q: On a big truck that holds a 3 pc. drive line and has 2 carrier bearings, is it best 2 keep the bearings level?
Could Not answer any better than ironhand 100% dead on the money Good Job, may have thrown in that the ter for allighning the drive shaft is called Clocking... LOL
Q: sealed bearing hubs
wheel bearings on that truck are sealed.....When they go bad, you replace the bearing/hub as an assembly.....They should last at least 100,000 miles if truck is not treated roughly....I owned a 2000 Silverado that had 146,000 miles on it when I traded it in....and still had the original wheel bearings on it and they were still in good shape.
Q: Right now I'm riding on Element Skate Bearings and I tear them up real easily. I mostly ride street, so of course smaller wheels. What do you guys recommend?
Bones Labryinth, Or Ceramics. Highly expensive.
Q: i have a 20 kent bmx bike. The bearings in the frame got messed up some how and now the pedal crank moves back and forth. Can I get these the bearings or do I have to get a new frame?
Count the number of bearings you need and take them to the local bike shop and get a whole set, don't mix the old and new ones use all new.
Q: Can someone explain and demonstrate the use of magnetic bearings + magnetic variation and ways of determining directions without a compass.
A magnetic bearing is a bearing which supports a load using magnetic levitation. Magnetic bearings support moving machinery without physical contact, for example, they can levitate a rotating shaft and permit relative motion without friction or wear. They are in service in such industrial applications as electric power generation, petroleum refining, machine tool operation and natural gas pipelines. They are also used in the Zippe-type centrifuge [1] used for uranium enrichment. Magnetic bearings are used in turbomolecular pumps where oil-lubricated bearings are a source of contamination. Magnetic bearings support the highest speeds of any kind of bearing; they have no known maximum relative speed.
