- Q: i want to get either rush black swiss or rush ceramic and i want the ones that are better but im not sure which ones are better

- Q: ok. i got a new pack of bones reds and new wheels. i dont know how to put the bearings in properly though. if I push them in all the way to where the axel goes throgh the wheel there is a good 3mm gap between the bearing and the edge of the wheel, which i'm assuming would make it difficult to get the bearings off. should the bearings go in like that or should they only go to the edge of the wheels? thanks
- Put lube around the sides then put it in the side of the wheel. To put it in all the way just use the axle of the truck to push it in.

- Q: Recently started getting alot of noise coming from the front of our truck. The sound is like a high pit ch noise the gets louder as the truck picks up speed. I would best describe it as a high pitch or like the sound of really big 4x4 tires as they drive by you on the freeway. I did the standard wheel bearing check. Jacked up the truck and pushed and pulled on the wheel. I get no shake or looseness. I can say that the passenger front doesn't roll as smooth as the driver front. I pulled the hub off and did a close visual and i can see nothing wrong. No leaking, scaring, or looseness. Just the lack of rolling smoothness like the other side. Could this be a bad bearing?
- More likely the brake is tighter on that side. If you can , back it off a notch or two and see if that helps. However, at 7 years old it would be a good idea to clean and repack the bearings, or even replace them, the races and seals.

- Speed is relative so long as use have decent, serviceable bearings, and have adjusted them properly. The wheel size will make a bigger difference in the speed. Smaller sizes-more rotation-less speed. Sorry the bearing hype is just that, hype

- the bearings are the attachment points for spinning parts. they allow virtually frictionless rotation with oil lubrication. think of a hand held pinwheel. the propellor is turning on a shaft. this is an example of a bearing on a shaft.
- Q: The bearings sound fine and smooth, Could this be from not tightening the bearing main nuts tight enoughgt;? I didn't use a torque wrench, it says 165 - 195 nM for torque, but I did it by feel... What could it be? It couldn't be the kingpin bearings? (Those were changed too)
- This could be serious. The problem is not the wheel bearings. The problem is with the car doors. The 'clunk' sound that you're hearing is a person falling out of the car each time you round a curve because the car doors are not properly secured. This will also explain why there is less conversation in the car as your trip progresses. To fix this problem, just get a really big wrench and tap the door locking mechanisms a few times with it. This should get things working again. You may also want to revisit the route you took to pick up the people that had the misfortune of having to walk after falling out of your car.
