The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

- You didn't say what kind of car. If front wheel drive, it is unlikely you have play unless it has lots of miles. If rear wheel drive, you can have play, but almost anybody can grease and tighten them. So it depends.

- Alignments are very particular services. They require all components to be in order. Your mechanic is doing you a favor in suggesting to replace the parts instead of just doing it as well as possible'.. which usually means your pissing your money into the wind. Take the time needed to get your car fixed correctly, then take it in for a correct alignment.

- Buying any new bearigns would fix this. Bones are the best brand and I recomend them always just because I've used them forever and they work better than any other brand i've used. There is no fixing the smashed one up you could fix it from being wet by taking them out and cleaning them and then relubing them. I lube my bearings at least once a week more if I skate everyday. Don't ever use wd-40 on bearings it leaves behind a residue that collect dust and dirt making your bearings even more crappy. If you buy some beaings get some lube for them also. Bones red and some lube would cost about $25 total at a skateshop and the lube will last years. If not then buy lube later bones bearings are about $15-20 online and at skateshops.

- No, you don't HAVE to replace all the bearings and seals. When we do bottom end work we split and clean the entire bottom end. Then we decide what seals and bearings to replace. For example, on an RM that was split due to a transmission shift fork problem we would split the cases, remove the gear set, measure all the transmission surfaces and forks, replace what is bad, check the output shaft seal, replace if torn, or leaking, check out the crank bearings and replace if there not smooth and check both crank seals, if they look good under a micro-scope and it ran good when we received the machine then we don't replace them, if they look bad or torn then they get replaced. To answer your question, No, you don't have to but don't be upset when you have to tear it back down cause you missed replacing a $2.00 seal.

- pull the wheels first, then you will have to remove the caps on the axles ( front ones ) , there is a tool to remove the nut that holds the wheel bearings in place , you have to remove that, the brake calipers and rotors will have to come off too, the rotor has the wheel bearings inside of it, the outter and inner, , use new bearings -they usually are under 30 bucks for the front bearings, and about the same for the rear bearings, the rear bearings are on the drive axle, so you will have to pull the axles to have the rear bearings removed, and they are pressed on, so you will need to take them to a shop with a press for r/r of the wheel bearings

- ?!?!?! NO! Finger acetone cannot be used to clean bearings. You can clean bearings with a few things, I can only remember WD-40 at this point of time. Remember to completely dry the bearings before adding the correct lubricant and re-capping them.

- Really no difference. Neoprene shields are a little easier to get out if you are going to clean or relube the bearings but you only have to take one out per bearing and only do it one time (since you don't reinstall the one you removed).

- The best way I have found is to remove the dust covers and replace them with Bearing Buddy's. These are caps with grease fittings built into them. You then grease the bearings with Marine Grade grease until the plate on the Bearing Buddy reaches the end of its travel( the directions are real easy) and you are done without opening the bearings to the outside world(dirt).
