Drawn Cup Needle Roller Bearing :

The outer ring of drawn cup needle roller bearing is punched with the high-quality steel sheet. The outer ring has thin wall.The drawn cup needle roller bearing has the characterstics of small radial section area, large load carring capacity ,less inertia and economic manufacture. It is suitable for small section heght, or when the housing bore isnot used for raceway , this type is recommended to use .The bearing is assembled into the housing bore under a certain pressure without fu rther axial location.

The draw up needle roller bearing generally takes its shaft diameter as the internal raceway .However , the proper LR type inner ring can be  used in accordance with application condition.

Q: what kind of bearings should i buy for my skateboard?
u should try some atm bearings or some reds then eventually when u wanna get really good ones get some bones swiss....i think those are the ones....forgot
Q: How to replace front wheel bearings and 97 saturn?
This Site Might Help You. RE: How to replace front wheel bearings and 97 saturn?
Q: My sister is very much into longboarding and has 4 boards, when I asked why one of them has no wheels she told me it was because she had no bearings and she needed new ones. So I want to get her some for Christmas. My question is what are bearings? Is it one size fit all, and what are the major differences if any? Also are there any department stores that may sell them?
So if you look at any of her other boards you will see in the wheels there is a metal ring that is a bearing. A bearing allows the wheels to spin. One size fits all and differences are the rating also you need 8 bearings for 4 wheels -Ratings are like ABEC, ABEC 7 bearings are more popular. I recommend 7 lower numbers are slower and I hear bad things about anything higher, although Bones Bearings(a brand) has no scale ,but trust me these are some of the best bearings you will find, I ride them and many people as well ride them. Any skate shop would sell them. Probably not department stores. I recommend Bones Reds About $18 Bones Super Reds About $25 And any lucky ABEC7 Bearings Although I HIGHLY recommend the bones reds or super reds! Another thing you could get is bearing lube..it speeds them up
Q: I refer to the overhung impeller pump. They normally have two bearings supporting the shaft, (and an oil box between the bearings). Why is that? why not only one bearing? what would happen if they are manufactured with one bearing only?
There are two bearings on the pump shaft to prevent lateral movement of the pump shaft during rotation. If a bearing is mounted at only one end of the shaft, the other end of the shaft will be free to wobble, which would be destructive to the pump. Some pumps may also feature a thrust bearing to prevent axial movement of the pump shaft.
Q: when should i buy new bearings? i've had modus titanium for a year now should i buy some new bearings?
Well if they still work, why are you gonna buy new ones? I wouldn't buy new ones unless they get caught, or I totally bust it out. But if you buy new ones you will definitely feel a difference. New bearings are smoother faster and overal more comfortable.
Q: I went and had my local bike shop put a new freewheel on my bike today. While he had the wheel off he wiggled the rear axle, told me it was loose, and offered to adjust the bearings. Now my back axle makes a pinging noise while I'm riding. The noise is gone when the bike is on the stand with no weight on the axle. Can this be fixed and how much will it cost?
The tech really should have looked further. My guess is that the reason your axle was loose is because either your axle is bent, the bearings are toast or your hub is shot. Unfortunately, these things often go hand in hand. Here's the progression in a worst case scenario... 1) The bike is ridden in a manner that causes the axle to bend; 2) With the axle bent, the bearing cones are compressing some of the bearings and crack one or 2 of them; 3) The pieces of the cracked bearings get jammed between the good bearings and also crack those, plus they jam themselves into the races of the hub destroying the bearing surfaces. Yuck.
Q: For my college engineering design project my team is basically designing a mousetrap car that has to travel a minimum distance of 3 meters and the dimensions are 20cm X 10cm X 10cm. The car will rely on its coasting phase to travel the majority of this distance so the reduction of friction between the axle and body needs to be at a minimum. I was thinking of using ball bearings for high quality rc cars but the only problem I face is how to keep them in the body which is basically a sheet of aluminum with two 1 cm edges bent 90 degrees downward with an 8 cm hole drilled through each side for the axles (od of bearings is 8 cm). I was thinking of using epoxy to keep them in but id like to hear other opinions.
if your axle shaft was solidly mounted to the vehicle, perhaps even a threaded bolt, and nothing touches both the inner and outer races, you could just tighten the nut on one end and it would stay together. i would suggest using a locknut, which can be left loose without loosening up from vibrations or the spinning wheels. i might suggest roller blade wheels and bearings. abec 9 bearings are very good low friction bearings, or the bones brand ceramic bearings are even better. with a large profile wheel, a wheel that covers more distance per revolution, a set of abec 9 bearings can allow a good roller blader to hit speeds of over 70 mph. and roller blade wheels are setup with their bearings to be through bolted fairly tightly in place, which might be ideal for your setup. another thing may be skateboard parts. the trucks, if tightened up real tight to prevent lean steering, might make very easy to use axles that are meant ot have wheels on them.....
Q: im getting a evo longboard and i have a stella a form and i want to know if i have to clean my bearings and when should i do it and where do i get them
You should clean your bearings about every month or couple months, or after you have ridden in the sand or water. When you clean you bearings you take off the rubber/metal seal on the bearing. You then place them in Acetone or High % Rubbing Alcohol and shake them around to loosen the dirt. After, you quickly dry them with paper or a towel. Once they are completely dry, you lube them with Bones Lube, White Lithium Grease, or Sewing Machine oil. DO NOT USE WD-40! Then put the rubber seals back on and you are done. Check out tutorials on youtube to get a better understanding.
Q: What are skateboarding bearings?
they are the 608. OD = 22mm, Thick 7mm. I forgot about the ID.
Q: My friend Lance has been sk8ting a while and he has dragon bearings and an Element deck. I want to know if this companies are good.
i've never heard of dragon bearings but some really good quality bearings are china reds. and they arent to expensive. personally, i dont think element is a good brand. my friend had one and the board was horrible. it had no concave at all (a flat peice of wood) and it broke really easy. me and my friend both have enjoi boards currently and he says its way better than his old element board. i suggest Enjoi
